Why is JUST Egg not vegan?

Image result for do supermarkets stock Just Egg

Why? The product was tested on animals prior to being approved by the FDA. Since cosmetic products that are tested on animals aren't considered vegan, then technically Just Egg is not vegan. Whether you choose to enjoy this product or whether you're vegan is up to you and your personal vegan lifestyle.Dec 9, 2022

What are peoples stance on palm oil - I avoid it myself. Do I still need to do this? I'm sure that all oils involve some sort of habitat disruption but the palm oil one is horrendous when you see the video's. Also what a shame the ICELAND (the supermarket) went back on their promise on not using palm oil for monetary reasons The RSPO is meant to be totally fake according to the workers on the plantations - the oil is also horrendously bad for your health.

In this case it's not because of palm oil but this product was tested on animals; so it is not vegan.

I understand that but is consuming palm oil vegan even though many products labelled vegan contain the ingredient.

From all of the information that I have reviewed, I would say that it's not vegan. Moreover, many pb products don't contain
palm oil.

Would this also be the same for coconut oil not being vegan, apparently it's not that healthy either unless applying it to the skin... and sugar too, I've heard that it's processed using bone char to make it white - even the brown stuff too.

Only the coconut brands that use monkey labour which are usually in Thailand, are not cruelty free.. European sugar brands don't use bone char.

This is bad news for me. I love Just Egg Foldables.

I may be looking for a loophole, but I'd like to know how many animals it was tested on.

I remember the brouhaha with impossible meats getting FDA approval by testing on a small number of animals. Maybe it was a small number.

I don't like the fact that it was tested on animals and yet by eating Just Egg I am sending a message to all the people that see me buy it and the others know that I eat it and it definitely keeps any craving, for real eggs, far away.

No loophole here.
