Dairy Giant Applewood To Take Its Vegan Cheese Global After U.K Sell-Out Success
Applewood Vegan sold out in 40% of the stores it launched in on the day of its U.K launchplantbasednews.org
Applewood comes to Canada. It's available in Superstore plus other major supermarkets.
I just went and checked online and my store does have some, thank you for the heads up, however it is very expensive. $13 CAN for 200 grams - the same amount of Violife or Daiya is $6-7 - it may be something that I buy once for a special occasion.

$13 CAN = 7.72 pound sterling - geeshIt cost £2.70 in Tescos. That is a ridiculous price. However, it's far better compared to Violife or Daiya.
'Masculine' labels? What??‘Masculine’ Labels Could Help Men Eat More Vegan Food, Study Claims
A new study claims vegan meals with labels like "beast" are seen as more manly. Could “masculine” words help men eat more plant-based food?plantbasednews.org
That sounds great, protein is what it's been lacking and what's kept me on soy, which I also like!Trader Joe's now has a product called Oat Milk With Pea Protein.
Nutrition wise it's close to soy milk. Taste wise it's close to oat milk.
I thinkThis might make for a good contest or focus group.
Come up with a manly name for a vegan product.
Off the top of my head I'm thinking we name products after Celebrity Athletes or maybe sports or teams. Although I can think there might be hidden pitfalls there.
If lab based meats ever go mainstream we can have Mastodon Burgers for Cave Men. Maybe not have to wait for the lab based versions. Just call a regular plant based burger a Mastodon Burger. although that could be confusing.
Chocolate hazelnut sounds wonderful, I'll need to look for this. Who knew soap makers made chocolate!nope. It was oat milk before. You know, even the picture of the chocolate bars are the same.
so I don't know what is New about this.
And I don't think it was just planning before.. the article says they are available in stores.
I'm thinking there must be something new.
But I don't know why I care so much. I never did see the orriginal ones in stores. but I would like to get one.
Oh wait, now I see it.
New flavors.
Dr. Bronner’s To Launch Oat Milk Chocolate Line In Crunchy Hazelnut Butter, Creamy Mocha Latte, And Golden Milk Chai Flavors
I think lab-based meats will go mainstream almost immediately. Even if there are those who claim they will 'never eat something created in a lab,' there are more of us who value life and will want to save farm animals, while 'still getting our meat.' In the end, it will just be meat and I think that will win out fairly quickly. This might make for a good contest or focus group.
