Is it going to be a dollar a box and just add water, or buttah? 🤔
I looked at their vegan American cheese and it didn't appeal, and was pricey
I often think big companies like Kraft intentionally market subpar products to dissuade people from wanting vegan options
There are good recipes, this is one-

Aldi had a vegan mac & cheese that was reasonable priced, but it was really lame

I really like the Daiya boxed mac & cheese. I tried the Amy's because they were BOGO but I don't like them near as well as the Daiya. I don't know what form those Kraft ones will be, but the powder ones are not near as good as the cheese packet ones.

My son keeps regular boxed mac & cheese and I tried it not that long ago, I was surprised by how it tasted! Made me appreciate any of the vegan ones I've made! (except the ones with carrots :yuck:)

The article keeps saying Not Mac and Cheese.
But it has macaroni. So it should be called Mac and Not Cheese.
And that is what it says on the box, too.

This seems like an easy call and accomplishment. It's not like the ol' Mac&Cheese had any real cheese in it in anyway. Ingredients: WHEY, MILKFAT, SALT, MILK PROTEIN CONCENTRATE....
So a vegan version seems eminently doable.

On the other hand, it's been 20 years since I bought the Kraft product - but when I did the reason I got it was its shelf life (forever ) and its price. I remember it was like 3 - 5 boxes for a dollar on sale. Although I doubt that is the case anymore.

@shyvas For a moment, I was wondering why or how I had missed some of the new vegan products described in your links just above... and then I noticed they're in the U.K. If I take another trip to Europe like I did back in 2000, I'll keep an eye out for everything- but even back then, eating in England, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland wasn't difficult.
