Fall is my favorite season, so I'm not looking forward to a sizzler at all, lol. I enjoy crisp fall days as well. I, too, hope fall doesn't have a lot of humidity.I don't want to wish summer away but this summer has been brutal with the humidity. Very few days where I can actually enjoy being outside. They are claiming that our Fall season will be a "sizzler" so maybe that means warmer than average for that time of year and maybe we will have some nice low humidity summery type days even if it isn't "cool". I don't know how I feel about that as I love crisp autumn days. But since I can't do anything about it I'm trying to just take each day as it comes.
I have a friend who is like that. You will never ever hear her say it's too hot or humid. She thrives in it. If it wasn't for the fact that it zaps every ounce of energy from me I wouldn't mind so much. But I can't function if I'm too hot. Or too cold for that matter. I decided I need a temperature controlled bubble in order to be happy.I love fall, too. Our area usually has quite spectacular foliage colors, as well as fresh, locally-grown apples.
But I think there's something seriously wrong with me, because I actually like hazy, hot, humid days. I think they're pleasant... but on the other hand, I just want to lounge around, and too much of that is NOT GOOD. My ancestry is a mix of Irish, English, and German- and since none of those places are noted for tropical-feeling summers, I have no clue where I got it from.
