UK Product Thread

I think I have only been to Hackney once in my life, ridiculous as it has so many good vegan places now. If I drove there it would be quite close to where I live. Not that I drive!:p So I would have to get someone to drive me.

There was a pub in Soho that sold vegan food, but I can't remember if I ever ate there. I know I have been in the pub bit a few times, but I remember it was quite cramped and usually very busy. Coach and Horses. Actually, I think the food bit was upstairs.

I had some Oumph for the first time last night. I thought it was OK, but you definitely need to add some spices / taste to it, and some of the pieces were quite large, so you need to try and cut them up a bit in the frying pan. I think there are several Oumph products, though, and this was just one of them (can't remember which!), so the others may be somewhat different.

I've had the vegan cornettos too but much prefer the supermarket own brand versions that have been around for years! Plus they are smaller. HgThe cone was good though.

Which supermarket has own brand ones? I did notice how small the cornettos were! I dont often go into the ice cream bit my Mum bought them for me as a present

I was trying to think where the hell I'd heard the term "Cornetto" before.... :???: Then it hit me... Shaun of the Dead!! :D (& other Pegg/Wright films)

What's weird is that I was just confirming what I thought a Cornetto was (they're Drumsticks here), then this popped up a moment later on Twitter....

Spaced / Cornetto Trilogy Rave Up :p
