Circus World in Baraboo, Wisconsin”which continues to host inhumane and archaic elephant acts and rides”has contracted with the notorious Carson & Barnes Circus again this year. This circus employs elephant handler Habib Omar, who has been caught on video aggressively using a bullhook and swearing profusely at a sweet elephant named Libby. Omar is presenting elephants at Circus World now through the summer. In addition, the facility has decided to exploit tigers this year, too

This is absolutely horrible and should be illegal. What kind of a parent would actually buy a kit for it's child to tortue an insect ? !!!!
 
At minor-league ballparks across the U.S., so-called "monkey rodeos"—cruel events during which capuchin monkeys in costumes are forced to ride dogs who are made to race around a track—are gaining popularity. Experts agree that these offensive displays are physically dangerous and emotionally traumatizing for monkeys. The monkeys cling desperately to the dogs, who can reach speeds of up to 30 m.p.h. and who are trained to make sudden starts and stops so that the monkeys are violently jerked up and down and side to side, risking serious physical injury.

Please send a polite letter to the president and CEO of Minor League Baseball asking the organization to ban "monkey rodeos" from all league events.

LATEST STATISTICS (and petition to sign)
The latest statistics of animals used for experimental and research purposes in 2015 have been recently published. (in UK)

3241 Beagles were used (an increase of 499 compared to statistics for 2014) in 4346 procedures (an increase of 239 compared to statistics for 2014).
