TV & Film The TV Room

I'm on the last episode. 😩
But there will be a season 14! It airs on PBS in March but not sure when I will be able to see it on Netflix.

I watched a lot seasons of Call the Midwife. And I did love them. but I had to be in the right mood to watch. Most of the episodes made me cry.
I should get back to watch them but I can't figure out where I left off. Although after all these years it wouldn't be the worst thing to start at the beginning.

TV on Tuesdays is going to become my new thing.
First I fell in love with the Rookie. Then I started watching a new show called High Potential. And now I'm watching Will Trent. All of these shows are on ABC and new episodes drop on Tuesdays.

The last couple episodes of Brilliant Minds, great.
New episode of High potential.
The irrational.
Abbot/ Sunny crossover way funny.
I started "Missing you" show because I just finished the book. The book is WAY better.
I have been watching will trent off and on. I could not get into the books.

I just finished watching "Doc" which is a new show I think on Fox but I watch on Hulu. First episode really interesting, about a hot shot woman doctor who suffers a brain injury in a car crash and forgets the last 8 years of her life. Really sad episode and I will keep watching it I think.

I have caught up with all my shows! I am considering watching "Will Trent" since I see so many ads for it.
Yeah, that was probably how I got started too. its on Tuesdays which is the same day as the Rookie and High potential and they show ads during those shows.
At first I wasn't that impressed with Will Trent, the show.
Its derivative. Good detective with flaws.
However it's also sort of unique. At first I thought the mystery aspect wasn't that good but I think the writers got better over time. the character development aspect is very good.
The little dog, Betty, is the best actor in the show.

Started watching "Rescue Hi Surf" on Hulu. It's a Fox network show. It's basically a moderned up "Bay Watch" taking place on the North Shore in Hawaii. First thing I noticed is that the women lifeguards do not wear tiny little bikinis and there are only two women in the lifeguard crew, one of them is a lieutenant. I have enjoyed the couple of episodes I have watched. Beautiful scenery and great rescues. I have always liked surfing and this show has lots of that!

@Lou I did find Call the Midwife to be very emotional. For some reason season 13 was exceptional. I'm seriously considering starting over with season 1.

Just finished Skeleton Crew. Two Thumbs Up.
Got good reviews and grades from everybody. Even the Star Wars fans.
After the last episode I didn't see a path for a second season and from what I hear it was not viewed by a lot of people so Disney is unlikely to renew it anyway. Too bad. I thought it was a nice show.

We finished the third series of The Morning Show yesterday. We watched the Jerry Springer documentary afterwards.

I read about an older TV show called Riviera with Julia Stiles that we will probably start tonight.

I finished "Skeleton Crew" and really enjoyed it. I am hooked on "Rescue High Surf" and have caught up with that. I still have shows to catch up on before starting something new.

I watched "Dune Prophecy" and I am "underwhelmed." I was bored to death but I might try another episode to see if it picks up. Then I watched "The Pitt" which stars Noah Wyle who was in ER but then disappeared. Great to see him back! This is a good medical drama that is filmed like a documentary and about an ER in Pittsburgh. Looks very realistic and I will keep watching this one.

The Night Agent comes out this week. It feels like ages since I watched the first season.
