TV & Film The Walking Dead

I hope Carol survives as I see her as a replacement "bad *** woman" for Andrea who did NOT die in the comic. The writers like to mix things up a bit and Kirkman has said the TV show and the comic are separate entities. I always love it when the TV show does follow the comic though. It is fun to speculate what is coming next!

I like the character of Carol too, I just thought her bravery and then the acceptance back into the group might have been setting her up to die!:sob:Hopefully she will be okay.

I can't stand Tyrese or Eugene. I hope they die soon, and also the priest.:|

But if Eugene dies who will save the world?!?! Lol

I have a soft-er spot for Tyrese only because of how he has been with regard to Judith.

They tend to redeem characters before killing them off, and Daryl's face did not have a "yeah everything is fine" expression on it. I figure either Carol is dead or Beth has been raped and tortured.

Was the scene of Beth in the hospital (on the previews for next week) a flashback or current? When she looks out the window the world doesn't exactly look buzzing with activity...

I don't watch the preview bits normally but I might rewatch the last episode again and watch what's meant to be coming up in the next episode. I wasn't concentrating or I was walking in and out of the room on the bit when the priest was explaining why the people scrawled that message on the wood.o_O

This may sound crazy but I think I'm done. I don't like where it's going. I may try taping it instead of watching when it's on, so I can at least fast forward parts I don't like. Not sure yet. For right now I'm back on the Hallmark channel, lol.

Totally your choice and definitely not crazy, but I'd like to know, what do you mean by "where it's going"?

I may have overreacted. I fell asleep before the episode started then woke up just as they were cutting off the woman's arm. So I was kind of "out of it" and freaked out. Between that and the cannibalism, it's a little much. It had been a stressful week for me so I was feeling like I don't need to be watching tv that upsets me.

The next day I decided to try watching again and I felt a little better. It was knee jerk reaction (hence post) at the moment. I will most likely tape the shows and watch them during daylight hours and see how it goes, lol.

The Walking Dead can definitely be upsetting and has brought me to tears on several occasions. The fact that it triggers such emotion is a tribute to just how good the writing and production is IMHO. It was said this season would be brutal and so far it has been! If you read the comic, you are somewhat prepared for some of the things that happen but sometimes it is a total surprise.
