TV & Film The Walking Dead

I didn't think it was great. I'm more with Moll. But it was ok.

I think I want more romance going on. Not like what happened last week, haha, but more like two people falling in love. Like Glenn and what's her name. Not sure who I'd want that to be, though.

I thought they were building up for Carol's death and perhaps a romance between Beth and that guy she tried to escape with. Clearly I was mistaken.

I use this  a lot but my mouth actually dropped open when that bit happened as I wasn't expecting it at all!

ETA maybe the actor wanted to leave to pursue a singing career.;)

Yes - very surprising to see they killed off Beth. I was also surprised that Dawn came to an end so soon. The antagonists this season aren't sticking around very long. Dawn's true pesonality and motivation was never very clear to me. Maybe I just wasn't picking up on it, I'm not sure. I think it was a mistake to get rid of either of them. The storyline could really have used those two, but hey, I'm not one of the writers.

'Talking Dead' afterwards was almost as heart-wrenching. You could see Emily Kinney visibly upset about the end of her role on the project. It was really sad, she seems like such a sweet person.

I was not really that surprised at Beth's death. I was surprised at how it was done. Whenever a character is featured several times and has become beloved, you can pretty much bet on their death coming soon. :D

Yes, exactly, that was what shocked me.:p I expected there to be a big shoot out and a couple of the main characters to die which would have been too predictable.

Yeah seriously, Maggie's been through some tough ****. Rick still has Carl and the baby, but Maggie had to watch her entire family die right in front of her.

Here's to hoping we DON'T go the comic book route with this one.

:lala: Remind me not to go on this forum until I have seen the new episode as it's shown here the next day.

Well, Tyrese is gone and I can't say I really care, his acting was good though and the episode was okay but a bit arty. I did love seeing the Governor again as he was such a strong character. I could have done without Beth singing.:D

I was less than impressed with the episode, in general, but happy to have the show back. It was nice that Tyrese got as much airtime as he did but I don't think it warranted happening on this return episode. It was a little over the top for me. And yet it was nice to see the characters, again, who had already died. I would have preferred to see more with regard to Beth's dying. I'm not devastated by Tyrese's
departure. I will miss Beth more (unpopular opinion, lol).

It was a "different" kind of episode for sure. I knew Tyrese was doomed as he had outlived his character in the comic and his "usefulness" was pretty much over with. I am looking forward to the progress in the story and I do want them to stick to the comic as closely as possible. Jeremy and I were discussing that the TV show is going to have to speed things up and catch up to the comic eventually.

I saw this coming a mile away. He was not built for this world. Hated that Tyreese was feeling guilty as he died. I'm glad he was at peace in the end. It was an intense episode as we weren't sure which way it would go for a while. He's a goner, oh wait! He's saved! Nope, he's fading.... Dumb call leaving the puss who can't put down a walker in charge of unstable Noah who needs bailing from the crew over and over. It was nice to see Tyreeses heart, i liked the artfulness and internal struggle as well as governor, heck yea.

I wouldn't feel a thing if they decided Noah is more trouble than he's worth.

Also, if you are going to play big dick and say "me first" offering to clear a house, clear the damn house. Especially when you know there is a walker in there. That shared Jack and Jill bathroom will get ya everytime. Let's see.. two carcasses a third is a walker its obvious the carcass you are in the room with has been feeding the walker, maybe secure the house and don't leave your vulnerable back side exposed?

Carl just got nominated permanent position of Judiths babysitter since Beth and Tyreese got themselves dead. Good thing he doesn't have teenage stuff like video games or parties with friends to ***** about, he's going to be busy.

I don't know why that kid left Tyreese in that room with the door wide open, knowing he was hurt and there were walkers in the house still. He wasn't in a good position to fend for himself. I would have been ****** off had he been eaten alive while the kid runs off for help. So stupid.

I hope the next episode will be better. This one left me unsatisfied.

I am really sad about Tyreese but I can't say I wasn't expecting it...

He's been dead in the comics since the prison so he's been on the tentative kill-off list for a while now. I hope this doesn't prove to be the same situation with Glenn.
