TV & Film The Walking Dead

I found it interesting to watch everyone react to the Alexandria residents, especially Carl. I am trying to imagine growing up with that. Can you imagine trying to survive each day, killing zombies, killing people, not being able to shower, being lucky to eat anything.... then suddenly you meet these kids who are sitting there playing video games? I would probably think "WTF! These kids are spoiled!"

Talk about a culture shock.

The Alexandria stuff was almost like one of those generic Disney comedies where you have a such-and-such out of their natural environment, and they overreact to certain things and misinterpret everything.

When Carl walked up the stairs uneasy with a knife out I was almost laughing. Like, chill. It is probably fine. You are not in hell anymore.

Nesting in the same house was a really smart move though.

I thought it was funny when Carol was being interviewed and she was trying to come across as a sweet motherly figure to trick the new people and also when she came out wearing that soccer Mom outfit and Daryl said she looked ridiculous.:rofl:Apparently that line was an ad-lib.

'The Walking Dead' Director Greg Nicotero Talks That Funny Porch Scene Between Norman Reedus' Daryl And Melissa McBride's Carol : Entertainment : Design & Trend

I found it interesting that she didn't actually lie about anything, she just omitted everything bad and put a spin on it.

That sums up Carol's character pretty well to me. She tells things selectively.

I liked this season up until the break. I'm having trouble staying interested and only three eps left. :(

I'm actually enjoying the whole reintegration theme of the last few episodes despite the lack of what we'd usually define as action. Carol, my favorite psychopath, is especially fun to watch. She's blending in marvelously, and they have no idea how dangerous she is when she wants to be.

Her speech to that poor child was simultaneously the scariest and funniest thing.

It reminds me, unfortunately, of something I might do if I were really under pressure and needed someone to shut the hell up about something.

I have gone off Carol after this episode. She threatened the little kid in the same way a child molester would, keep quiet and I will give you something as a reward or, tell anyone the truth and I will kill you. Ew, seriously creepy and out of character.:dismay:

I wonder what the "W" was on the walker's head?

Where the hell is the annoying priest, did he die?o_O
