TV & Film The Walking Dead

FTWD is like a bad horror movie, IMHO. Leaving that door wide open was a real head-slapper. And the Army dropping in at just the right moment...yeah. They would have likely just shot both of them to pieces, they way they were handling the riots downtown. I get that the characters are supposed to be naive at this early stage of things - but they are bordering on plain stupid. Instinct has got to kick in when you see a zombie-fied face (even of someone you used to know). If my buddy was eating a dog and came towards me - I would not attempt engage him in conversation.

Disappointing to me thus far. The writing is not great either. I do like the mix of characters though - exes, the junkie, etc.

Travis gets my vote for biggest dumbass in the zombie apocalypse :)

It doesn't seem like Travis is very popular with the fans. :p'Fear the Walking Dead' fans vs. Travis Episode 3 - Business Insider

I can't wait for the proper WD to start.

I thought the episode was pretty exciting and things are really starting to get intense. Travis will have to change his attitude pretty soon if he is going to survive! I think he is beginning to get it and hopefully he will get a little less "it will be ok".

I know this isn't the main point of the article I just love how they declare the characters on the original Walking Dead to be like the Justice League lol... Lets just say that there is a very important reason to build the characters up as such, the characters are all getting very arrogant. Yeah, everyone is a badass until some bigger badass cuts them all down a few pegs... Okay maybe several pegs :) The level of arrogance of our original survivors, especially Rick's is going to get them in a very BIG mess that will reduce Rick and Co to a meek litter of kittens (for at least a while)... This I promise.

The article though, is spot on in it's analysis I think. Very well thought out and written.

This episode was so much stronger and I really enjoyed it.

I have to admit that I probably would have reacted like that to the addict. :oops:It was weird to see an actor I finally recognised in the show with the soldier.

The Forbes article was really good and I pretty much agree with the author. FTWD has failed to "grab" me but I will hang in there and hope it improves. At this point I really don't care for any of the characters that much. I think the kids are all beyond annoying and Travis is an idiot. Madison has some promise as she is pretty tough. Daniel is the most interesting and is pretty scary! The military guys come off as unrealistic IMHO. I hope the finale has some tension and excitement.
Can't wait for the REAL Walking Dead to come back!

I thought the finale was pretty exciting though I have to watch it again as my sister called and I couldn't blow her off! :D
I haven't watched the webisodes but I may have to check that out.

The finale was intense. That had to be the biggest horde of zombies we've seen! Anyway, when does the walking dead start? I'm excited. :D

30 minutes and counting!
And it's a 90 minute episode. :)
Please don't be boring, please don't be boring, please don't be boring...
