TV & Film The Walking Dead

The relationship between Rick and Michonne has been building up over several seasons. I was happy to see them finally "get together." :D
And as far as "what will happen"...... LOTS of stuff is going to happen coming up soon! :D

Richonne! I couldn't be bothered to wait until tonight. I really liked this episode. I enjoy the slower ones.:) Rick seemed to get over Jessie very quickly!

ETA Oh crap. I just read a spoiler elsewhere about what will happen.:dismay:

Yeah he does, and it was that way in the comic book as well. But in the comic book he gets with Andrea (don't know why they opted to kill her off on the TV version.. Still live and well up to current issue)

A lot of things are going to happen.... Which happening are you referring? :D

Stop with the "eluding"...spoiler me, I need to know everything, damn it! Lol

For KLS, and anyone else who doesn't mind things possibly being VERY badly spoiled for them.

Okay, so to start off... Keep in mind that this is all a big IF they stick to the way things go in the comic book and they have been doing a pretty good job of it lately. I would guess that things will happen similarly on TV. Daryl killing Negan's men has really started something. I can only imagine Negan is working to locate them... When he does things are going to get ugly pretty fast. If they stick to the source material Abraham will be the first casualty by the hand of Dwight using the crossbow he stole from Daryl...

Comic book scenario:
Eugene wants to go after equipment near Alexandria, a press for making ammunition for their guns.. At this point they are running very low. So Eugene and Abraham head out just the two of them to acquire the equipment.

Which brings us to exhibit #1

Possibly major spoilage part 2:

So, Dwight returns to the gates of Alexandria with Eugene as a hostage.... Eugene gets out of this bad position and back into the safety of Alexandria after a bit of a scuffle resulting in the death of even more of Negan's men. But now it is obvious that Negan knows where they are and is set on A.) revenge for the loss of his people and B.) wants to beat them into submission to be part of his extortion network which includes "The Hilltop" (Where Jesus is from.)... Actually now might be a good time for a little bit of a rewind... Jesus takes Rick and Co to The Hilltop to meet the survivors there where it is revealed to Rick that "The Saivors" (Negan's group) are extorting supplies from them and another community in the city. This is where Rick shows how confident and arrogant he has become. Rick immediately volunteers to "take care of the Saviors for good". Now enter Negan, to show Rick where he truly stands in this. To show Rick just how much trouble his arrogance is about to inflict. It becomes abundantly clear that Rick has overstepped and bitten off way more than he could chew this time and someone is about to pay with their life for that point to be made.

So after the assault that killed Abraham and nearly killed Eugene, Rick and company decide to go to the Hilltop to inform them of what has happened and request aid, but Negan catches them on the road on their way. No more name dropping, now Negan introduces himself...

I don't necessarily think there's that much chemistry between the two but it seems fitting that they get together. I'm happy with the pairing.

I don't know what you people are talking about. I've been feeling the Richonne tension since forever. Couldn't be happier that they're together.

Glenn's death in the comic broke me. If he goes out the same way in the show it'll be devastating, but then he'll be getting his proper death I suppose. The only thing they could do to shock us more is have Negan kill someone equally important but totally unexpected.

I've seen it coming for a long time too. Michonne's relationship with Carl was a huge hint too I think. Funny thing is, in the comic if Andrea were out of the picture I could see Rick and Michonne getting together.

Such an iconic moment in the book I think, and it was meant to upset the invested reader and Robert Kirkman achieved his goal to an epic proportion. No one who read up to issue 100 will ever forget that issue... EVER

That being said, as much as we like Glenn they need to follow through with killing him in the finale. In order for Maggie to blossom into the character she is meant to become she has to lose everybody she loves. Would she have become the badass new leader of the Hilltop had Glenn not died in issue 100? That to me is the bigger picture. Glenn being killed will harden her sending her down that path t0 becoming what she needs to become.

Hey @KLS52 I know what's going to happen on Sunday... You want to know? Lol :D

Hell, yes!!!!

Hell, yes!!!!

Jesus tells Rick and co about the community he's from "the Hilltop". Jesus notices that Alexandria is low on food and proposes that the two community trade some of the guns from the armory for food. So Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Michonne, etc push off to go to the Hilltop, they encounter some random stuff on the way, picking up another survivor from the Hilltop who happens to be a gynecologist. He finds out that Maggie is pregnant, and wants to have a peak at her prego vajayjay and Glenn doesn't like that at tall! They arrive at the Hilltop where the gates are guarded by survivors with spears.

They meet the leader of the Hilltop, Gregory whom is a MAJOR *******. Rick gets frustrated, trying to negotiate with Gregory isn't going well so Maggie takes a crack at him. In the meantime a guy named Ethan returns to the Hilltop without the group he had gone out with wanting to speak to Gregory. Ethan says that he has a message from Negan for Gregory and proceeds to stab Gregory with a knife. There's a fight, Rick ends up killing Ethan. Ethan stabs Gregory for Negan because Negan is thought to be holding Ethan's brother captive.

Gregory wasn't killed, just badly wounded. A discussion then takes place about Negan and his group the Saviors. Daryl speaks up and tells everyone about them encountering the Saviors on the road and that they were easy to kill. Rick, Daryl, and Maggie ensure the people of the Hilltop that their group knows how to deal with people like Negan and the Savior and volunteer to easily deal with Negan (piece of cake right?) in exchange for half of the Hilltop's food and supplies. Gregory agrees to their terms.... Also in the episode Abraham goes through his personal ****, the love triangle between him, Rosetta and Sasha that's in his head... Blah blah blah put an arrow in Abe's head already :D

Another episode following the comic closely....

Thanks for this! I'm so stressed out, lol.

Does anyone else feel like they skipped over Maggie telling Glenn about the baby? Or did I miss something? I'm also mad that they didn't at least give a glimpse of their reunion. It seems like that all just fell flat.
