Whatcha Eatin?

That sounds interesting. I have never tried to combine spinach and blueberries. Did it make your smoothie green?
(TBH I would probably eat that banana and the blueberries after thawing, use the peanut butter and cocoa powder on some crackers and drink the almond milk. The food processor had a terrible sound, and washing the thing always made me depressed so I got rid of the thing without any remorse.)
It's still mostly purple, but it does have a subtle greenish tint. It doesn't affect the taste at all, not that I would mind that, as I love spinach. I also enjoy the fruit in its natural state, but I like a smoothie sometimes because it's quick, easy and pretty tasty.

Oh I see. They say spinach is very healthy.
I like a smoothie, especially at summertime, if I don't have to prepare it myself. Lazy as hell, or how do they say it.

I had a packet of crisps/potato chips when I got home and then remembered I was going to try and eat healthier!

I made a Quorn stir fry with green and red bell peppers and onion in a "beef" sauce.
The cereal with soymilk you had prior to that sounds healthy! That stir-fry sounds both delicious and healthy... depending on how much oil it has, I suppose. I was skimming through one cookbook by a well-known personality (whose name I forget, but will probably remember tonight when I'm drifting off to sleep with no access to the 'net). She advised "sauteeing" foods with a bit of water- no oil. I can't fathom how that would work!!!! That's not sauteeing... it's steaming- which is very good, but quite different.

Agreed. Sometimes, I just want the flavor of the olive oil in different dishes.

I'm having bulgur topped with ratatouille. My mom bought it at Belmont Market, which is a local market near her. It's kind of like a Whole Foods but smaller. They have a nice section of vegan prepared foods. And you get about four meals out of one purchase. I've had three or four meals from Belmont, and they have all been very good.

Yes, I agree that food tastes better with oil. I tried to make air fried potato wedges without oil and they weren't that nice. I have a bottle of olive oil and a bottle of spray olive oil so I used the spray one next time. I really like sesame oil drizzled on food, but I never use it enough to buy a whole bottle regularly.

I was going to have cereal and soya milk again, but my husband was having toast so I had toast with Marmite instead.

I often use olive brine for 'sauteing' and that is more satisfying than water.

Today will be a noodley soup day again.
