PressTV-US arms fueling Mideast terrorism: Stein
The Iranians like Jill Stein ...
She went on to call for Washington to base its diplomatic ties with Middle Eastern countries on human rights records and international law, from Israel to Saudi Arabia.

Stein argued America’s “ill-conceived plan” has created “failed states” and caused “mass refugee migrations and repeated terrorist threats that get worse with each cycle.”

Maybe Trump's not trying to win the White House — he's trying to start Trump TV
Donald Trump's recent decision to overhaul his campaign staff suggests that the Republican Party's nominee is already looking past November. But his target might well be a job in the media, not the White House.
One possible conclusion is that Trump, who recently acknowledged that he might end up taking a “nice long vacation” after November, has realized he is going to lose. He has therefore recruited Ailes and Bannon to lay the groundwork for his backup plan: a new career as a right-wing media personality. Indeed, Vanity Fair published an article in June suggesting that Trump wanted to “monetize” his success as a candidate by turning his voters into viewers.

PressTV-Ex-CIA director says will vote third party
Former CIA Director Michael Hayden says he will vote for a third party candidate in the upcoming US presidential election because he is “uncomfortable” with the Democratic and Republican nominees.

“I'm uncomfortable with the nominee of both of the major political parties,” he told the Cats Roundtable radio show on Sunday.

“A vote is taking our sacred suffrage, our chunk of sovereignty, and bestowing it on someone because he or she is worthy, and I'm having trouble getting to that point with either of the major candidates,” he added, in his strongest rebuke against Republican nominee Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Vote Alice Cooper!
Alice Cooper throws hat into US presidential election ring | News | DW.COM | 22.08.2016
Veteran rocker Alice Cooper has announced he is joining US presidential front-runners Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in a bid for president. "A Troubled Man for Troubled Times" is his slogan. Indeed.

A lot of people have no idea who he is. Dollars to doughnuts the idiots planning to vote for Trump will think he's transgender because of his stage name and have a fit at the idea of a transgender person running for president.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Citing Shkreli on any subject is like citing David Duke on race relations.

Just watched an interview with him on the EpiPen price gouging. He's a total dumbass for a pharmaceutical guy. He said EpiPen is still a good deal because it saves a trip to the ER. Wrong. You still are supposed to go to the ER after using it for followup treatment. Okay, so this has nothing to do the the presidential campaign but seeing his name just now made me remember where I'd seen it before. I admit I didn't realize who he was before.

PressTV-‘Trump has serious mental health issues’
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump may not be mentally fit to serve as the president of the United States, suggests Mika Brzezinski, an American author, journalist and television host.

Brzezinski said on Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC that “it's time to hear from somebody in the mental health community, to look at this person who has been on television for months and give us a sense of what we have going on here.”

“Let’s stop pretending we’re dealing with someone who we can completely understand,” she said. “When you see someone who you think has problems, you know it. And there’s not anybody at this table who doesn’t think he has some sort of problem. Let’s ask the questions.”

She and Joe were fawning all over Trump for months. They, and other "journalists" like them, are why he is where he is today.

There have been a number of mental health professionals saying he has narcissistic personality disorder, but they all hesitate to make the diagnosis official because doing so without examining him in person is considered unethical. Anyone making an on-air diagnosis of either Trump or Hillary Clinton just by watching footage of them is either guessing or attempting to smear either candidate by full-out lying. NPD is the LIKELY diagnosis for Trump because so many of the characteristics fit, but again, it's unethical to make that declaration unequivocally, especially when an untrained layperson is making the diagnosis.

Trump seeks 'ideological certification' for immigrants
"Anyone who wants to move to the US will have to bring a benefit to the country. And they will have to pass an ideological test. They will be questioned on American values and their attitude to Americans in general. They will be asked about their views on issues like so-called honour killings or radical Islam. And only after this "extreme vetting" will they be put on the path to being allowed into the country. "
and of course no one cheats on tests (Harvard Cheating Scandal)

I think that this form of extreme vetting is a fantastic idea for preventing crime of all types. Everyone in the country should simply be required to answer a set of questions, at least once a year:

Do you plan on committing murder? Do you believe in murder? Do you believe in robbery? etc.

It's a YUGE, beautiful idea!

I am the first person to advocate for humanity and understanding in examination of mental health.

That being said - Trump is a textbook narcissist, without question. He's an *******, which, in combination with his narcissism, is what makes him dangerous.

So much exactly this.

Someone who subscribes to a radical ideology is going to know how to make it look like they don't. That's kind of their whole schtick. That's how they get away with doing violent **** in the first place, by blending in, because the majority of violent radicals look like totally normal people up until they blow themselves and half a building up.

On top of that, we can barely manage to keep up with actual logical screening processes. Not that most of our screening processes are logical in the first place. There needs to be reform, but it needs to be almost the exact opposite sort of reform to what Trump wants.

“I was a strong supporter of Donald Trump when I believed he was going to address the immigration problem realistically and compassionately,” said Monty, a Houston attorney who has aggressively made the Latino case for Trump. “What I heard today was not realistic and not compassionate.”

This is a nice sentiment, but... kind of late, don't you think??

But that is the beauty of "extreme" vetting ... if people who are screened, by all accounts are "normal", then they are, of course, NOT let in either. That way, it is made sure none of those pesky radicals can slip in by masquerading as "normal".
