If there is any one that's really into the gym and gaining muscle/fitness can you please give me some good advice?

hi Sophie

Welcome to the forum and congrats on going vegan. Remember that whole food plant-based eating with minimal added oils/sugars and salt is the healthiest way.

I do not work out however I have watched a number of YouTube vegans that do including High Carb Hannah and Jon Venus and his finance Kathrine Moen. You may get some inspiration from watching some of their videos as they all eat a very clean vegan diet and work out regularly.

Hi Emma,

Thanks for your reply :) I'm slowly learning what's good and what's not which is probably more common sense really but it's nice to have some advice!
I'll look those people up too

Hi

I work out a lot. But I don't try and gain weight. If I wanted more muscle mass I would probably use the aid of a good Vegan protein shake www.theprotienworks.com. I tend to eat pretty normally but after training I make sure I eat some shelled almonds or something like that. Just to help my muscles repair. Vegan hustle on you tube has some good videos in terms of diet and training. It ultimately depends what your goals are. The key is to eat the right amount of good food, sometimes increasing portion sizes or frequency of meal times. Brown pasta/rice for carbs and lentils/beans for protein ;)

Hi!
Thank you ☺️
Yeah I don't want to gain weight either, I work out a lot and since turning vegan I struggle with what to eat and what would help my muscles and toning along the way! I will watch the vegan hustle though
Thanks again!
