Face it, the altruistic and selfless generally don't rise to the top.

While that may sound nice and simplistic, altruism seems to be one of mankind's survival strategies.

But I guess we've now agreed that there is *good* and *bad* in everyone, and that *bad* therefore does not equal *insane*.
