I want to watch Green Book.
You and I would be great movie buddies if we lived near each other.Last week's movies: The Maze Runner. It was pretty good and based on a YA novel series.
Thor Ragnarok. I love these Marvel movies. They are fun!
The Meg. Jaws ripoff. Some scenes were outright stolen from Jaws! Still entertaining!
Inferno. Tom Hanks solving mystery and saving the world! It was ok. I fell asleep in the middle.
I haven't seen Ready Player One, but I read the book. It was very entertaining. That looks like a good movie. I would like to see it also. I watched the following movies on DVD this past week:
Tron not the original, the sequel. I loved the original Tron from the 80's. This one was just ok.
The Justice League More fun from comics. I think I like Marvel movies better though, more humor.
Passengers Rather boring scifi starring "A list" actors, Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. Nice visuals.
Ready Player One This is about a virtual world/game that everybody plays. Not a bad movie but struck a nerve.
I've seen the trailer. ...Not sure i'm ready to watch it.I haven't seen Ready Player One, but I read the book. It was very entertaining.
Watch a watchable movie " Black Butterfly"
I need to see The Post. I read The Girl on the Train, and I thought it was awful. Most people I know who read it loved it, but I found most of the characters completely unlikable and mostly annoying, especially the main character. I couldn't understand what all the hype was about.Movies I watched this past week:
A Quiet Place This movie was pretty awesome! Very tense and scary! Some disturbing scenes. Recommended if you like scary movies.
Seventh Son Ok fantasy movie with some big name actors, namely Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges. Nothing special.
The Girl on the Train I think this movie which was taken from a book was not that good. I imagine the book was much better. It did pick up at the end but was supposed to be a "thriller".
The Post Meryl Streep is outstanding in this true story about the Pentagon Papers which happened in the Nixon era. Good movie. Also starred Tom Hanks.
I want to watch Green Book.
Ann Branigan said:In a disappointing but not altogether surprising left-turn that soured one of the most inclusive, entertaining Oscar ceremonies in memory, Green Book, a racial reconciliation fantasy written for white people, by white people secured the Academy Award for Best Picture.
