DO, it was really good. I was suprised, not expecting much but it really sucked me in.

I guess you could say all the stuff from the book was taking place in the background, and this happens to just be a character in that world. ish. they did also change the ending. Arrrr. I guess it's a pretty catchy name, but they should've changed it.

I have the book but never finished it. I lose interest in nearly everything half way through unless its super good. Will try again though.

The reason it's the same name is because Brad Pitt wants to make it a franchise.

Both movie and book were good, but nothing alike. The movie was a rather intense but basic zombie movie, the only real innovations being how creepy the zombies acted and sounded.

Maybe its just me but...zombie film=shooting zombies in the face. I dont care if theres a plot...I mean isnt that what a zombie film should be...just mindless gory action?

Unfortunately the movie suffers from this. There is more plot than zombie scenes. However, when the zombies do show up they are frightening, which is more than can be said about a lot of zombie movies these days.

The book goes super innovative with the zombies, it's less plot than it is an intense examination of what an actual zombie apocalypse would be like.

But theres shooting zombies in the face right?

Oh...Im actually really excited for the new Simon Pegg film. The Worlds End.
I saw Shaun of the Dead back when it came out with my friend, seems fitting we should see this one together too.
And Monsters University. Double excited!

I've been avoiding seeing Get Him to the Greek. Sometimes Russell Brand annoys me. Sometimes he doesn't. The majority of the time he annoys me so I didn't want to waste time seeing the movie.

The Hobbit was pretty good.My friend that watched with me said he liked it better than the original 3 Lord of the Rings.I didn't agree as I love the first 3.

Watched a few lately but the stand out one was a film with Simon Pegg which was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

It was called something like 'A Fear Of Everything'

Shockingly bad.

I just watched Tower Heist on Video on Demand. It's okay, nice piece of mindless entertainment, nothing more. Could have been better, could have been worse. I rated it a 9 on IMDb, but was probably being a little too charitable. I took off a star because there's one annoying little scene where Eddie Murphy's character talks about lesbian titties. You have been warned.

Stranded It was some cheesy sci-fi movie where Christian Slater plays a space station captain and the station gets hit with a space rock which disables the station. An alien life form comes out of the space rock and gets a woman pregnant. She gives birth to an alien/human type creature who likes to kill people.

I really need to stop watching this kind of thing.I have no idea why I do?:fp:
