Haunter - It started out good, with a new spin on the haunted house ghost story. But then the huge plot holes show up...
There's no reason as to why this dead family is being kept in the house by a dead serial killer. Why does he have the power to keep other ghosts as prisoners???

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane - I usually don't like slasher type movies, but I liked this one despite all the gore. Not bad for a B-movie.

Draft Day...completely cliched and predictable, but not nearly as wretched as some critics claimed. I confess to having a thing for Kevin Costner, hence the 2 hours of eye candy-ness. Yes, I can be shallow sometimes. :D

Her - It was pretty good. It was odd to see people acting like a relationship with an OS is perfectly normal.

One for the Money based on the series of novels by Janet Evanovich.

Katherine Heigl made a terrible Stephanie Plum. (I thought the entire movie was miscast). Though Katherine might have worked out if they had actually tried following the books more closely instead of using a poor script loosely based on the series.

I just watched "Frozen" on Video on Demand. It's a nice movie, pleasant, but I didn't think there was anything special about it. I know everyone loves this movie, so please don't hurt me. :hide:

I haven't seen Frozen yet but I probably will at some point. I like the parodies that were made of the song Let it Go...funny! :o

We watched Robocop 2014 the other day. I thought it was pretty decent, actually. They had put it into the current political context, which worked well.

I put a hold on the movie at my library. So I'll be seeing it anytime from tomorrow to 3 months from now.
Good to hear it didn't stink.

World War Z was on Netflix so I decided to watch it even though I hate zombie movies. It wasn't too bad, I was expecting something really awful.

...so you liked it (it defied your expectations)? Or you didn't (it was too bad)?

I thought it was decent as far as zombie movies go, but nothing groundbreaking, and certainly nowhere near the book's level.

If you don't like zombie movies, I can understand why it'd be terrible, given that's all it's good for.
