TV & Film Movie Lounge

I just watched Admission on Video on Demand. Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, Lily Tomlin. It was...cute. Nothing special, but not a bad movie, either.

Yeah it's not a movie I would watch again but it wasn't a total waste of two hours. I did have a bit of high hopes for it though considering the cast. It was just kind of "meh".

Dark Skies' ending didn't bother me that much. Not as much as, for instance, The Woman in Black. Talk about soiling a great movie with a weak ending.

Oh I totally forgot about that !

World War Z - Nothing special. Wouldn't watch it again.

Thank You for Sharing. A very clever comedy about three men in a 12-step recovery group.

12 Years a Slave. Fine movie. Horrific content. Nevertheless, well worth seeing.

Mandela. Just plain great.

I watched "Starred Up" yesterday at the cinema. It was brilliant. Very violent (for people who don't like that). But one of the best films I've seen for quite a while... :)

We're going to see that soon, looks really good. ^^^

Saw the new Captain Marvel last night....HELLS YEAH!

I switched onto a TV movie today called Girl's Best Friend starring Janeane Garofalo and the JR in the film looks like my dog so I watched it because I thought it would be cute. The main character has to take care of her (mother's?) dog even though she doesn't want the responsibility.

There is one scene when she has an argument with her boyfriend and she drives off in the car abandoning the dog leaving it tied up by a fence. OMG, it ****** me off so much. She is shown going back to rescue the dog but it really annoyed me. I stopped watching it after that.
