No one has ever pardoned himself. The constituition doesn't prohibit it so it would have to go to courts. I don't think the courts would allow it. The spirit of the law is pretty much no one is above the law.

It looks there is a little bit of a shift in public opinion after the storming of the capitol on January 6th. Before then, his approval rating was 40% in the average poll and it had been a long time since he had gone below 38%.
