Oh okay. I forgot about those guys...they killed them off pretty quickly! Lol.They've just changed the name of the group. In the comics they were just a small group. Comic fans tend to refer to them as the "The Scavengers" (issues #75 - #78). Seems to me they're going to be the same but with a little added complexity, sort of the way they made the "Hunters" (Termites for those who have only watched the show) story a little more complex than in the comics.
Sometimes I hate knowing what's going to happen and have to try really hard not to spoil it for people
Ooooooo...spoilers! I want spoilers! Lol
I am getting the storylines confused since I read the comics at the same time as watching the show. But I remember the major stuff, like what happens to Carl in the comics. I wonder if they'll do that in the show.
I'll hide my reply, so if you don't want spoiled don't click
I really hope they do it, it was a pretty powerful "oh ****" moment. But I'd understand if they didn't. That would be a lot of makeup to constantly maintain on the poor kid. But above all, I don't think the fate of Glenn should be changed in the slightest. WAY too powerful a panel not to bring to the screen fully intact. It makes a statement that Rick's arrogance has truly gotten them in over their heads and it is the introduction Negan deserves.
They might do the same type of scene with a different character. I could see them killing off Eric or Abraham in the same manner, with Aaron or Rosita being the ones to fill the grieving partner role in place of Maggie, thus allowing them to not change the overall storyline too much but not kill off any popular characters.

Sure, they could do that and they're basically free to do anything they want with the story to keep even us comic people on our toes. As we've seen they've done plenty of role swapping, characters taking on duel and multiple roles becoming composite characters. Billy and Ben becoming Mika and Lizzy, etc. But my main argument for not changing Glenn's fate in particular is the development of Maggie's character. She becomes the character she is currently in the comic universe because she lost everything. I really can't see them changing Maggie's direction in the TV universe by much.
I can't stand him! He needs to get his **** together or go.Maybe now that Gabriel has gotten his feelings out, he might be able to actually make himself useful? I don't think that the role of a confessional priest would be too weird in a place like Alexandria. Might be really helpful to some people.
I'm with you on all of this.I did try to read the thread from the beginning but realised it's too long & gave up. Haha.
Still sad about Beth. & still really mad about it. Loved her character/her character growth, plus I loved her & daryl together & the way she toughened up. I don't know if that's an unusual opinion as I think some people didn't like her much, but her death is the one that bothered me the most throughout the show. Damnit.
I'm watching 2012 episodes. Picking up on a lot of stuff I missed. I can't get over how young everyone looks. Is it true the season premiere is August 23?!?!
