The Weather.

I thought the rain had stopped a bit for today, so I ventured out without my poncho.

I thought wrong. Very wrong. I like to observe the weather- I find it interesting- but it genuinely surprised me how quickly the clouds thickened and it started pouring. I expect storms like this to happen often in the summer, but not in late January. At least it wasn't freezing rain- but there was some sleet.

It's not lame, especially when you live in a warmer climate.
What's lame is living in the northeast and complaining about Winter, especially when we haven't had one in five years lol.
Sure we get cold spells for a few days...we're heading into one now. But winters have been considerably longer. And it starts later and later too, it seems.

I agree with KLS, it is all about what you get used to-it's 7 F here and that's way too cold for Cleveland! I can't imagine MN, but even worse for me would be too hot

That is my idea of a nightmare. I cannot tolerate cold as I get older. I blame my thyroid.

I agree! That is why I live in Florida now! Windchills go down to 30 or 40 below zero up there on the Iowa and Minnesota plains.

I complain but it's usually because I don't get any winter lol.

I will give you that 7 degrees is too cold. And I agree on the too hot.

I want between 25-40 degrees...snow at least 2 inches two times , 4-6 inches 3 times, and 8+ inches two times...over the course of three months. That would be a perfect Winter.

Oh and it has to be fluffy, none of this slushy mix nonsense.

It is going to be warmer today with a chance of rain. The weather has been very unstable with temps going up and down drastically.

Really warm today and it rained. I have the windows open. Cold front coming through tonight and it will be in the 30's in the morning!

It is really chilly outside! I was going to walk to Tesco, but changed my mind as soon as I walked out the door. Brr. It is meant to be very cold tonight as well.

It is very chilly today with a windchill factor! It was warmest early in the morning, then dropped. It is 50 now and I have to have the heater on. At least the sun is shining.

Friday's snow system is fizzling. What a surprise.
It was a weak one anyway. Still might an inch.

They closed work for 2 days due to icy conditions and that was like 10 degrees. I ain’t complaining, if I can get snow days for that I’ll take it haha. There was only a light dusting of snow
