There was no snow at all in Essex where I live. It was very cold last night.

Right? It's getting annoying. I need to go grocery shopping today, and I don't want to leave the house.

I had to force myself, yesterday, to get to the store, so now I can hibernate until Saturday, when I'll have to get out and meet some people for lunch lol.

LOL, I have come down with the cold that the rest of my family caught, so I forced myself to go out today to run all my errands, and now I'll just hibernate as well. I was going to visit my mom this weekend, but I don't want to give her the cold. She and my cousin Jim seemed to have escaped it.

C-c-c-cold and w-w-windy here, too. (Meh. It's January in upstate New York- I wasn't expecting shirtsleeve weather. I just dress for it. And walk fast... except when it's icy- which, fortunately, it isn't........... for now.)

It's cloudy but much warmer this morning. The temps will not go up much at all today staying in the upper 50's.

We were expecting a coating to an inch of snow. It's more like a dusting. If I can see grass, it doesn't add up to a coating, in my opinion. It's a dusting.

Awww! We had the same. It's all melted now. Just the clouds are left.

There is a hard frost again and it looks cold, but sunny out there.

Looks like winter has settled in for the month. I guarantee those few days showing snow flakes will change/go away by the time they get here. There's no way to predict that far in advance. But it's fun to look at the extended forecast and compare to what actually happens.

It has been very cloudy and chilly today and there might be some rain with yet another cold front! It is only in the low 60's.
