Another day around 60 but it's warmer out right now than it has been early in the morning. Back in Iowa and Minnesota where I grew up it's -9!

I wish I could give this snow to @KLS52 ! It's been coming down so thick with large flakes--it would be pretty if it were straight down and more gentle. I think it looks wet and heavy

All the snow has melted away, the weather is humid and very windy.
There was an intense windstorm this week - it gave an ideal opportunity for insane and fanatical people (I happen to know one, at least) to scream "Storm warning - but there's no fear!" ("Lies forming - the sacrament lays bare, the sinner will testify..." anyone who could continue?)

We got rain here while I was at Central 28, it poured. Was needed though. Had a nice time, met Dennis's new gf who is from Ireland and really nice. Lynda and I got food from the Mexican food truck and had a beer. Hopefully we will meet up with Dennis and Tracie on a more regular basis now that we have "re-connected." There weren't very many vendors for the market. The weather kept them away, I guess. I did get some triple berry jam but the people who sell honey weren't there and honey is what I really needed/wanted.
I'm suspect, too, but our guy at SCW seems to think it's for real, at least inland.
ETA: It's actually raining right now, lol.
Looks like we got about 3 inches and still coming down. Plows have been down one side of street, but there are cars parked all along my side. Someone must be having a get together because thats unusual.

The weather is going to be getting vicious in the next couple days. Northern Florida is under a winter storm advisory as an Arctic blast heads this way. There will be blizzard conditions in the far west panhandle for the first time EVER and snow over the whole upper part of Florida. Freezing rain will be just to the North of here!

here it is currently -11C (12F) feels like -19C (-2F) and my hometown is -19C (-2F) feels like -26C (-15F) - we call Southern Ontario the Florida of Canada - north of my hometown in Wawa ON it is -31C (-24F) feels like -36F(-33F) - the temperatures meet at -40C/F
the good part is that it is bright and sunny

Today is a most miserable day! I have the day off and am staying in. There was a cold rain earlier which has stopped but it is only 37 degrees with wind and will not warm up that much all day. At least it isn't snowing here like in North Florida!
Yesterday and today in the negatives. This morning -5 and windy, leaving work was 10 F. Tomorrow in single digits, but then Friday it should be in the 20's. Looking forward to that!

There is another storm here. Storm Eowyn. There is a rare red warning in Northern Ireland. It shouldn't be bad where I live.
