btw the bac'n was not worth the money or the effort........ I still have half the package left and I don't really know what I will do with it - maybe if I had fried it in a bunch of oil it would have been better however it basically was like flavoured cardboard

Growing up we would try all kinds of new foods and Morningstar veggie bac'n was exactly that-bac'n flavored cardboard!
And I so love Baco's bits

A leek,mushroom & soya curl pasty made in the af.
Apple puree with coconut milk yogurt/sweetener.

I had a Quorn steak bake with stir fried peppers, onion, courgette and mushrooms and then a cherry choc smoothie.

ah I have to go back to my "dinner" post as you helped me to remember I put the other half of that bacon in with the rice and beans - the smoky flavour was a big hit so maybe it does have a place after all...
