Whatcha Eatin?

Wish I'd gotten more veggies....
Produce market had these small pineapples for $3.99, and I bet they're super good! Maybe I'll go back today, I need to go out anyway.

I had some apple crisp I made late last night. Too early for sweets :pensive:
I got my pineapple at Costco for 2.99! That's unheard of for me! It was really good, too.

I bought two cantaloupes. The one I cut was ok but not great. I'm hoping the second is better. I probably cut the first one too soon.

Fresh pineapple is so good. And that's a great price! I've had good luck at Aldi with pineapple, and Trader Joe's. Might have to get one this week.

I've only had one good watermelon this year, and really no good cantaloupe.
Pineapples have been very good, and mostly under $2! Don't know why... The small one I mentioned was a different variety, and now I want one

I have gained weight this week even though I have done lots more exercise than normal. Grr. Well done.

I thought I would celebrate that with some garlic doughballs and a hot jackfruit pizza. I at least left half the pizza in the fridge for tomorrow.😆

Which ones? There was so much choices of pies and pasties in the supermarkets. I also enjoyed Sainsbury's Plant Pionneers no park pies and have bought some back here.
Tesco Plant Chef No Meat pies. I don't think I have had them before.

They are bringing out so many new vegan products here, it is unbelievable. I will probably never try them all!

Yes! I went to all of the supermarkets and it was mind boggling. They all have a range of the most different and delicious food. Moreover, the prices are usually reasonable. Nothing compares to the UK for plant based food. Also, the eateries in Brighton were fabulous; both pizza places, pubs (for Sunday roast) home cooking (Idyea) No catch fish and chips ( No Catch) and all of the fast food (not my cup of tea) and snack places such as Greggs had the most delicious food ever. We also enjoyed vegan almond croissants, doughnuts and Mr Whippy on the seafront.

I'm only going to Brighton for one night, but I'm hoping to try No Catch, the Mr Whippy ice cream and the pub you mentioned, East Tap? I think you said.

East Tap is good for Sunday roast. However, not sure what they do for dinner during the week. It's best to call. If not you have Purezza on St. James St. They are doing 50% discount on huge pizzas (subscribe to their newsletter) during the whole month of October. We went three times for meet ups and I also invited one of the pidge/gull rescuers out to dinner over there. He was gobsmaked by the pizzas.
