Whatcha Eatin?

Maybe it's a really big cracker...

Blood orange cider?.
.. I've had them, but not cider made from them- I've only ever had the apple kind. I'm curious.

It's just cider flavoured with blood oranges. Cider is made from fermented apple juice but many UK brands use different flavours.

Tofu scramble with half a bagel and an orange. I put hot sauce, imitation bacon bits and vegan cheese in the scramble. Quite tasty!

A slice of soft, chewy sourdough with Tofutti cream cheese and seedless blackberry jam. Plus a deliciously steaming hot cup of sweet tea with a splash of Silk creamer.

This is what I was craving last night.

We ended up getting a Mexican takeaway as I couldn't be bothered to go out in the cold to buy the cream cheese and I felt ill afterwards. I'm paranoid they used dairy cheese even though it was marked vegan. :(

I am having a Kimchi noodle soup that I bought at the dollar store - I took out the noodles that came with it and put in two other ramen noodles, added a few frozen veggies and some soy curls - it is very spicy.

I had elbow macaroni with canned kidney beans, tomato sauce, and a bit of canola oil for late lunch/early dinner. Simple, but quite good.

I cooked the elbows in my slow cooker: I heated up the water to a simmer and then added the macaroni- otherwise the elbows would have been VERY overcooked and mushy. I drained them, added the beans and sauce to about half of them, and put the rest in the fridge after they had cooled.
