I was about to say that it looks like corn. Lol.Oh, OK. I've just never seen it around our house before, especially not there... it's something that digs shade....
My father said "It could be corn!"

Have you been checking your soil for pests contamination? We do have many types of pests, and some of them are real disaster, but some seem to be immortal and invincible. Like Click beetles' wireworms. They are living mostly in potato roots, but also in other roots, and they eat the roots fiercely and kill the plants. Maybe this is your case?-My plants look awful. Something is wrong. Even my flowers are dying. I’ll post some pictures in case anyone has any ideas. I’m thinking it’s the soil but not sure why all of a sudden nothing will grow.
Pathetic. Everything.
Beautiful... And the surroundings are stunning as well.View attachment 14342 View attachment 14343 All I have are my baskets. They’re doing well, at least.
It’s interesting you say that. I was wondering if that was a possibility. But knowing people put wood chips in their gardens, why would they treat the chips with chemicals?Don't know whats going on KLS, maybe the wood chips were pressure treated with a preservative to resist decay and have started to leach out.
