Oops.... I didn't see this when I posted above last Thursday.......Tom is overdue for a visit to the forum!
Yeah, it's fine to use externally but not internally. I'm planning to use it as a poultice. If that works, I'll turn it into a salve.@Katrina I think I've heard comfrey is hard to get rid of... that it's one of those things that can come back from just a tiny piece of root. But I might be confusing it with something else. HOWEVER... one thing I am sure of is, we're not supposed to consume it internally. Tea was formerly made from it, and I think it used to be eaten as a potherb, but it's now known to mess up your liver if you consume too much of it. I think it might be safe to use externally, as a poultice or something, but I'm not certain.
Mmmm, that could make a lot of muffins and maybe mock crab cakes. Yum!Hey peeps. Meet Isabelle.

She weighs just over 3 pounds and measures 17 inches long. My baby!
I remember these guys from when I was a kid. My mom and grandparents used to make fairly large vegetable gardens and these worms took over, one year. They’re pretty scary looking things. So today I found this ugly thing, and now I'm worried about my tomato plants. I've never dealt with tomato hornworms before, so finding it was quite a shock. It's huge!
