TV & Film Movie Lounge

^ I hadn't ever seen the original (weirdly, as I have seen so many horror films) so I didn't know what to expect. I thought the clown was going to be more tongue in cheek and jokey, not disturbing and terrifying!
I kept thinking about a couple of the bits from the film when I woke up the other night.:lala:

The young actors were amazing, so talented.

^ I've only seen one of those films, Triangle.

I've recorded quite a few Halloween/horror films including three of the Scream films. I started watching Candyman and I didn't even remember it at all. I didn't know that it was based on a short story by Clive Barker.Candyman (1992) - Rotten Tomatoes

My wife and I just watched the last 3 Star Trek movies (the new "reboot" from 2009, 2012 and 2016) back to back and enjoyed them quite a bit. Especially Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan.

I liked them, thought they were OK. The third came the closest to TOS... the villain was completely unnecessary, though. My buddy, Jer (major Trekkie) had some major issues with the first two....

IMO, I thought Cumberbatch was a tad on the "scene-chewy" side.... :|

And why do Khan again?! :argh:

C'mon, he was one of the great villains, right :D
Wrath of Khan was undoubtedly the best of the original Star Trek movies.... But to quote a character from an entirely different series of films, "... you don't run the same gag twice, you do the next gag"....
