I like those Asda chicken pieces but I prefer the Fry's (or Redwood's) version. They are delicious and my hubbie really loves them too.

I occasionally see the orange ones in newsagents but I've never seen them in a pack like the mint ones. It's a shame because I much prefer the orange but can never get them!

Same here! They sell them at a newsagent near my GP surgery so I always stock up when I go to see my doctor.:D

I havent tried the Frys...I tried the Cheatin' lunch meats and wasnt impressed. Frys is only in H&B round here and therefore=£££

Yes, the Fry's chicken pieces are much nicer, but at >£3 a box compared to like £1 for a bag, I'll generally go for the Asda version.

Exactly.:) I really think the mock meats available are highly superior to the mock cheeses.

Does anyone know what other Asda meat-free frozen things are vegan? I was looking online and it seemed like there was a burger with mint in that looked okay.

The mince definitely is, and it's pretty good. I make spag bol with it all the time, husband likes it too. I thought the meatballs were but I've never bought them so I'm probably remembering wrong.

Most of their other meats have egg in. All the chicken style ones do apart from the chicken pieces.

As for cooking on the same grill...Are you in a shared house or living with family?
Do you only have a grill...if so perhaps you can cover it in foil so your stuff doesnt touch the actual grill :)

I live on my own at the moment coz my bf is in the army. I have a friend moving in in a few weeks to lodge with me. He's happy (too lazy to cook for himself) to eat the same meals as me. But my bf will cook meat when he's home. I should be able to get my food on there first but just in case I don't and i cba to clean it, I'm not gunna get myself worked up about it...unless it's going to affect the flavour of my food! Xxx

I live with my guy who is omni. I just have seperate oven proof dish for his meat and such...
Do you mean a grill in an oven or a George Forman?

The meatballs aren't :(

I don't know if it's been mentioned before but Baxters soups are currently on offer in s'burys (4 for £3). However, I've found 3 flavours just now (I'm in the soup aisle right now) that would be vegan except that they have honey in them! :( the healthy lentil and vegetable, the healthy minestrone, and the healthy spicy tomato and rice. :(

I hate when they put honey in soup. wtf is the point you cant even taste it?? and why put sugar in vegetables?

I found chocolate almond milk in waitrose today! Almond Breeze brand. Cant wait to try it!

Ya know that free newspaper that you get in waitrose? They had an insert with coupons for 1 free almond breeze and 1 free chocolate almond breeze! We're going to try to pick them up today!

It's mainly the dairy replacements like cream for cooking, squirty cream for deserts, chocolate replacements. It's not something I need or would use all the time, just nice to know its there xxx

You can get most of those things in supermarkets. Tesco sell the alpro single cream (I think other supermarkets do too), and just about everywhere will have at least one type of chocolate. Fry's chocolate creme bars, most types of dark chocolate (check the label), and even special dairy-free milk and white types in the free-from sections are easy to find :)

Vegan whipped cream is something I think only specialist places sell. Ive never seen any...but like AF said Alpro single cream is available in most places or Holland and Barrett sell oatcream..pricey but at least its something.
The asda dark chocolate I posted above is vegan(100g NOT 200g)...and also these I believe are vegan and available in most supermarkets and sweet shops:
