The Full Frontal Apology Race Begins Today - Join In!

You know that feeling you get every day, multiple times a day when you check Twitter or turn on the television or read anything? The one of deep embarrassment that lives in the pit below the pit of your stomach? We feel it too so we are picking up the mantle of apologizing to the world on behalf of America. Today we're announcing the official start of the FULL FRONTAL APOLOGY RACE: a two-week romp around the globe to try to make amends for any deeply embarrassing thing our President manages to get his hands on in between tv time.

Starting today, Sam is sending our correspondents (Ashley Nicole Black, Allana Harkin, Amy Hoggart, and Mike Rubens) out to the far corners of the earth to say the two words that this administration will never have the guts to say: "I'm sorry." Today alone, our correspondents are looking for flights to El Salvador, MENSA, and Francis Scott Key's gravesite.

Follow along on @FullFrontalSamB to watch our correspondents rack up frequent flier miles traipsing around the country and the world with apology cards. Suggest people, places, and things to apologize to with #ApologyRace.

Tune in to TBS on Wednesday, January 24 at 10:30/ 9:30c to see which correspondent is the most repentant. No matter who wins, it's America that is the most tired of winning.

God, I'm sorry, I still cannot get over how homicidal this man looks. It seems like he wants to push the button way more than Trump or Kim.

I disagree with you on that one. My rating on the dimension of "stable genius" among these 3 contestants would likely be
1. Rainbow
2. to 997 nothing .... for a long time
998. Kim
999. Dump

More intersting Fire&Fury stuff ....

What Fire and Fury tells us about Trump’s foreign policy is terrifying
Beyond the gossip, Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury reveals a president in crisis

Ezra Klein said:
Trump wasn’t supposed to win
What you need to understand about Trump’s presidency, Wolff says, it that it was never meant to happen. And if it had never happened, perhaps it would have all worked out fine.

The beginning of Fire and Fury is about what Trump’s team, including the candidate, expected to do after he lost. Steve Bannon “would become the de facto head of the Tea Party movement,” Kellyanne Conway “would now be one of the leading conservative voices on cable news,” Reince Priebus and Katie Walsh “would get their Republican Party back,” Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump “would have transformed themselves from relatively obscure rich kids into international celebrities,” and Melania Trump “could return to inconspicuously lunching.”

As for Donald Trump? His plans were, well, yuge. He “would be the most famous man in the world.” Alongside Roger Ailes, he was thinking of launching his own television network — Trump TV, a network by him, about him, and for the millions and millions of people he had proven he understood better than the Republican Party, Fox News, or Paul Ryan.

“I don’t think about losing because it isn’t losing,” Trump reportedly told Ailes a week before the election, when he and everyone else thought he was going to lose. “We’ve totally won.”

Hey, you're talking about the man I love (even if he doesn't love me back :sob:).

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has added a veteran cyber prosecutor to his team, filling what has long been a gap in expertise and potentially signaling a recent focus on computer crimes.

Ryan K. Dickey was assigned to Mueller’s team in early November from the Justice Department’s computer crime and intellectual-property section, said a spokesman for the special counsel’s office. He joined 16 other lawyers who are highly respected by their peers but who have come under fire from Republicans wary of some of their political contributions to Democrats.

Dickey’s addition is particularly notable because he is the first publicly known member of the team specializing solely in cyber issues. The others’ expertise is mainly in a variety of white-collar crimes, including fraud, money laundering and public corruption, though Mueller also has appellate specialists and one of the government’s foremost experts in criminal law.
