I wonder whether this belongs here or better in the "Rampant Racism" thread?
Anyway, horrible news ... and it seems there are so-called "Democrats" (the Heidi Heitkamp kind of "Democrat") supporting this
Protect and Serve Act’ Would Make Police a Protected Class and Violence Against Them a Hate Crime
Because Police Officers are so ... persecuted ...
Unfortunately, we all know the answers to these questions...
1) Any kind of resistance
2) No
3) Of course
4) Black and Brown people and whoever else pisses off the Police...

Not just racism, though, but yet another step closer to total fascism and totalitarianism. Any kind of action, no matter how trivial, could be deemed a hate crime against the police. They would have complete and total control of the citizenry, and we would be powerless to stop them, with no checks and balances to keep them in check.

I' m starting to think that the Democrats should field Avenatti, Stormy's lawyer, as their presidential candidate against trump. Avenatti certainly knows how to play the game. It's interesting that dt hasn't said anything about Avenatti, and very little about Stormy. Makes me wonder what he's afraid of.

The only ones who can do anything for now are the Republicans, and unless it affects them personally, they aren't going to lift a finger to stop him. They're too busy stuffing their pockets with everything they can grab before their golden goose is gone.

It would be interesting to hear whether those two women were paid to keep their story to themselves until such time as dt needed them to go public if ever. It woud also be interesting to learn how many other journalists have been providing dt with kompromat on his opponents.
