I've heard some people say they would like to wait until after the 2018 elections in case we can get a Democratic speaker of the house, so when trump and pence go, we'll have Democratic president. It sounds good, but I don't think we can safely wait that long.

President Trump asked two of the nation’s top intelligence officials in March to help him push back against an FBI investigation into possible coordination between his campaign and the Russian government, according to current and former officials.

Trump made separate appeals to the director of national intelligence, Daniel Coats, and to Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, urging them to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.

Originally read that in the Washington Post via the Apple News app, but that one you can not access on the Internet without a subscription.

If that story is true (I always fear that one day, one of the sensational Trump stories might turn out to be a "plant" by pro-Trump sources in order to blow up on the media, although this has not happened so far), then it seems that Mr. Twimp has taken a book on Watergate history as a "How-To" on what to do next....

Looking at the picture, I am very much reminded that both Melania and Ivanka made a flamboyant statement in Saudi Arabia not to wear a headscarf of any kind in order to publicly express that they are not complicit with the oppression of women by the evil religion of Islam.

However, the moment they are in Rome? Words fail me.
