I miss old regular sitcoms like Everyone Loves Raymond, Malcolm in the Middle, My name is Earl, Raising Hope....
There's no comedy shows I follow anymore

Have you seen The Middle, it's similar to those, although it's in its final season now. Also The Goldbergs, Modern Family, Blackish, and American Housewife are kind of like those.

I seem to be watching a lot of British comedies lately.
I wasn't too sure after the first episodes of Crashing and Lookalikes, but they grew on me. :D Looking forward to a second season. I didn't like the Toast of London, not my kind of humor I guess.

Also watched the miniseries Retribution (not a comedy at all), and it was pretty good but I have seen similar storylines before.

I finished Nailed It, and I definitely hope there's a second season. The host, judges and contestants all had me laughing.

Yeah, I have watched the Middle, lost interest when they got older. Love Modern Family-only recently discovered that. Hated American Housewife  Blackish I watched in the beginning then lost interest.
Loved Gotham the first two seasons, then just quit

Started watching The Office (U.S.) again. Began season two on Saturday night (rented one & two, one only had 6 episodes)....

It's nice to see the shows in order... and I know there must be a few I missed....

This'll be fun... it's nice to laugh again....

Watching Sense8 and enjoying it. Even though there are plot holes, I realized it's easier to ignore them when there are likable characters, and so far, I like most of them on this show. There are 8 main characters from around the world, and what's really cool is that the show was filmed all around the world, and I'm loving getting a glimpse at all those countries. :)

Have you looked at Agent Carter?
I caught a couple episodes when it first started.... But that series is also on my to-rent list. ;)

I'm in season 7 of The Office.... Family Video, not surprisingly, was missing seasons 4 & 5... but I was very happy to discover that I did not miss the "Threat Level Midnight" episode... that's next up tonight! LMAO

I really like the new Will & Grace and Roseanne.

Yes, I am the same way. Channel 4 over here shows Frasier and I still watch it every day.:)

Canceled!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick, The Last Man on Earth, Lucifer booted by Fox. I’m po’d about everything except LMOE because I lost interest in that one.

ABC canceled The Crossing which I was just getting into because it looked interesting. Po’d about that, too.

OTOH, Fresh off the Boat, Black-ish, and Speechless were all renewed by ABC. This is important because of the visibility they provide: A family sitcom with a mostly Asian-American cast. A family sitcom with a mostly African-American cast, featuring relevant stories about being black in America. A family sitcom with a special-needs child (a teenager with cerebral palsy, played by a young actor who actually has cerebral palsy.) Fans of these shows (all of which I watch regularly) celebrate the diversity and visibility they provide to audiences.

Happy to see Brooklyn nine nine go. There commercials annoyed the crap out of me. The show sucked too. I love Last Man on Earth though. :(
Now I'll never know who those people are, or if his brother finds a girlfriend.
I think it needed a better time slot.

I don't watch them much anymore, but I do like Fresh Off the boat and Black-ish. The only person I liked on Speechless was the kid in the wheelchair, the other kids are some of the worst actors ever and made it a chore to sit through the show.

NBC has picked up Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a 13-episode 6th season.

I hope they do the same for The Last Man on Earth, or at least have a series finale episode and resolve the cliffhangers.

I just finished watching season 1 of The Handmaid's Tale.

Wow. Such great acting. And the actual plot is scary as f***. I can totally see something like that happening sometime. Women have been treated like crap throughout history. It wouldn't take much for us to slide backwards again. Just look at what Trump is trying to do . . . not so much with women (that I'm aware of), but he is blatantly prejudged against the LGBTQ community. Just like in the show. Sorry to say the dreaded T word here, but damn. He's exactly the sort of guy who would approve of this fictional society...
