I really liked Aquarius!

I might rewatch the last series of The X-Files before the new one starts.

I've been watching Dr Who with Peter Capadi. I quit watching about halfway through Doc 11 with Matt Smith- Moffat ruined it for me sooo much :(. I'm shocked how lightweight it's been. I didn't understand it being a kids show when Eccelstine and Tenent were the lead, but with Capaldi I didn't need my son to explain things :p.
Am looking forward to tonight's Christmas special and the new Doctor! Well, I'll record it for tomorrow as it starts at 9 and that's beddy-by.

Who with Capaldi has been pretty good, especially this most recent season because they've been dialing back the Moffat-y stuff. Every time he gets an episode or an arc you can literally feel the entire show slow down to accommodate his nonsense.

The first few Big Moffat Arcs were more or less okay plot-wise, despite the writing being, predictably, misogynistic and weird as hell. But as the show went on and we were subjected to one arc after another where The Doctor Will Face His Greatest Challenge Final Day Last Doctor Final Doctor's Day of the Doctor Night of Last Happening of the Doctor, even the plot just got tiresome and stupid, and all the things I'd originally considered positives about Moffat as a writer (few to begin with, admittedly) just got progressively worse and worse.

I need to catch up on this season so I'm ready for the new Doctor and, most importantly, the new showrunner. Every writer has issues but here's hoping this one isn't garbo like our pal Steve.

Whew. I’m finally all caught up on Gotham. Next up: Designated Survivor. I have the second half of season one and the first half of season two to catch up on before the second half of season two starts on February 28.

Absolutely LOVED The Punisher.

Now we're on to Dark - only one episode in so far but am very intrigued. Hoping it will be good.

I'm also watching Alias Grace which I'm currently obsessed with.

I just finished watching that. I really liked it. :)

Does anyone watch Black Mirror? I've watched two of the new season 4 episodes, Hang the DJ and Black Museum. I started with the ones with the higher ratings, and so far, they both were really good.

I thiught it was great but a shame it was so short.

We've just started Peaky Blinders - quite nice to have something with 3 seasons to catch up on.

Oh, and in case anyone wants to know, Netflix is supposed to do a remake of She-Ra. It's about damn time that someone did that! There are at least two remakes of He-Man already.

We just started watching The Gifted.

I’ve been watching it from the beginning. The season concludes on Monday and has been renewed for a second season. It’s set in the X-Men universe, and it helps to be familiar with that universe, but I’m not and still enjoyed it.

I find it's more realistic than the regular X-Men series. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see the mother is played by the same actress who played Fred in Angel.

According to an FB page I follow: "The sixth and final season of The Americans will premiere Wednesday, March 28 on FX."

Cant wait! Apparently, this season is set in 1987. That's only two years before the fall of the Berlin wall. It's a time of glasnost and perestrojka. Should be quite interesting.

I watched the first episode of the new series of Will & Grace yesterday, I thought it was really funny, I didn't realise how much I missed it.

I liked the new X-Files too.
