TV & Film The Walking Dead

I never thought I'd say this but I was with Merle the entire episode. Everyone else seems to be ridiculously naive (except maybe Michonne).

 Andrea is irritatingly naive, and just irritating. :p

I can't remember if I already asked this but did Andrea and Michonne have a sexual relationship at any point in the comics /show?

You can't reason with a psychopath. Even if the Governor had accepted Rick's originally terms, the agreement would have been pointless. He knows this, or he should anyway.

I'm really disappointed in Rick for considering handing over Michonne, even for one minute. She has proved herself! I don't rule out that they hand her over as part of some kind of master plan. Man, they are going to have us on pins and needles these last few episodes of the season.

On a positive note, I'm glad Glenn and Maggie are back together, though the soldier in me was pretty frustrated at them for leaving their post to do the getting back together :p

I was happy for them too - but the tension is so high who can enjoy a good sex scene? I was thinking 'No, no don't close that door - the Gov has sent his army to attack the prison while he and Rick are meeting!' (It would have been a good time to do just that - the leader seperated from his group.)

Yes, she is so annoying. Though I did feel for her when the Governor rejected her peace plan. :(

Not in any canonically discussed terms. Michonne/Andrea aren't even really that close in the comics (at least the ones that I've read) and in the show they've never discussed them being together in that way. Whether it's implied or not just depends on how you look at it.

Agreed, and I can see this happening as well.

As they were going at it I kept saying "Okay, something horrible is going to happen... something horrible... really soon..."

^ I agree with you two about the sex scene, I thought it might have been the cliche horror moment when the characters are violently punished for having sex.

Okay, I wasn't sure if it was just me that thought Michonne seemed romantically jealous of Andrea and the Governor.:p

I've worried about this every time they have sex. Glenn is my favorite character (and really cute) and Maggie is possibly the strongest female character on the show (aside from Michonne of course) so it'd be a pain if they killed either one of them off.

That's where fanfiction comes in.

Me too. First I was disappointed when he didn't take the opportunity to shoot the one eyed ******* when he was alone with him. Then I got over it until he appeared to sympathize with the Governor when he told the story about his wife's death. He redeemed himself when he made that little speech in front of the group about going to war and not mentioning the Michonne thing. Of course he had to **** it all up by telling Hershel about it and how he is considering it.:fp:
Every time I think he's sane again he goes ahead and makes a dumbass move.

I knew Andrea was going to plan to bring down the Governor after he kicked her *** out during his meeting with Rick. I have faith that she will indeed fail at that though.

You can't reason with a psychopath. Even if the Governor had accepted Rick's originally terms, the agreement would have been pointless. He knows this, or he should anyway.

And trying to decide whether or not it's worth giving up Michonne to save the rest is just as pointless. Rick even said he believes the governor will still try to kill them anyway. Rick should have shot him in the head the second they walked in there. Since he didn't, the rest should have attacked the meeting. Since they didn't, they should now follow the advice of Merle and Michonne and hit Woodbury first. But nope, they're probably gonna wait and have the fight in a manner that puts them at the greatest disadvantage, such as the entire town of Woodbury laying siege to the prison or them walking up to Woodbury with Michonne which, whether with the intent to give her up or as some sort of diversion, will give up the element of surprise, with which they could easily take the town. On a positive note, I'm glad Glenn and Maggie are back together, though the soldier in me was pretty frustrated at them for leaving their post to do the getting back together :p

Yeah I was just waiting for someone to let Merle out and allow him to go leave. I thought Michonne was going to scream "Let him go" when Merle and Glenn were fighting.

As for Glenn & Maggie..I was frustrated with that scene. Not only because they left their post but because they didn't use condoms!! C'mon people! WTF?? Apparently the walkers aren't the only ones with non working brains.

I did however, love the scene with Hershel and Milton when they talked about his leg. "I'm not going to show you my leg! You need to buy me a drink first!"

:rofl:Oh Andrea. I love how expectations of her are so universally low.

I am going to have to get to reading those comics!! Going to put them on my tab and and carry the WD everywhere with me! :D

Good episode with some quality "Oh ****!" moments.
I'm glad Milton has finally seen the light, but the guy sucks at lying. It's probably best that he did prevent Andrea from shooting the Governor because she probably would've missed anyways.
Disappointed in how naive Tyreese is. I had high hopes for him. Now he's joining Andrea in the dumbass club. Every time I thought he was wising up, he would go ahead and do something stupid.
I don't really feel bad about Andrea's fate this episode. I think her being kidnapped will be an interesting twist in the story.
Looking forward to next week's episode and getting to see the group at the prison again.

I thought this episode was pretty awesome. The tension was intense and I jumped a couple times I admit. :D Only two left until the end of the season....probably going to be a huge cliff hanger at the finale!

Andrea being kidnapped is freaking me out a lot. Even though I don't care for her character, what happened to her is VERY similar to what happens to Michonne in the comics. That can't be leading anywhere good.

Yep that's the rumor so far. It will be a jaw dropping episode apparently from what I've read.

Oh wow! Yeah..that's not good at all. I really hope they don't turn in that direction. It sounds way too dark and disturbing.

I was really rooting for Andrea in this episode and I was ****** off with what happened, especially because she managed to trap the governor. How the hell did he escape from that situation anyway?!

I know!! I was thinking at first NO WAY are they killing him THIS way!!! But I sure jumped when he grabbed Andrea! The gov is too good as the villain to kill off yet!

Yeah, I thought it was a bit too easy a way to get rid of him. :D I want Michonne to cut his head off.:p

As much as Andrea annoys me when she is being whiny I like her when she is being brave and heroic like the scene in the last series when she was fighting all the zombies in the woods on her own when she got separated from the group. I hope she is rescued or manages to escape in some way and doesn't get killed off.
