TV & Film The Walking Dead

I always watch the previous episode before the new one as AMC does that. It is very possible to miss something the first time around. I stopped hiding my eyes a while ago but I do get grossed out by all the gore sometimes. But the Walking Dead was never intended to be just a bunch of zombie killing....

I really like watching The Talking Dead afterwards. They often point out things that either completely went over my head during the show or that I missed.

I only just started watching TD and it definitely helps. Of course I missed the last one, lol.

I really liked the most recent episode. I found it hard to get into at the start of the series but I think that is because I was looking forward to it too much.:D

So if any of you find yourself in a world full of zombies, don't plan on having reliable vehicles a year after civilization ends unless you had the foresight to stockpile a bunch of gas and mix in a stabilizer, in which case it might last for a couple years. Even then, it would still eventually go bad.

;) Thanks for that useful advice, it might come in handy one day!

I'm really just nitpicking btw. Walking Dead is presently the only show I find to be worth watching. I enjoy the action, the drama, and of course the zombies :)

That said, I've noticed another flaw (not counting the undead walking around) over the last couple episodes. They're collecting gas they come across, Daryl switches out a battery and gets a car buried in bushes running quite easily after who knows how long, Carol takes that car in the suburbs and it starts right up...

The zombie apocalypse started what... a year ago give or take a month? Highly refined petroleum products, such as the gasoline in cars, begin to break down fairly quickly if there isn't some type of stabilizer mixed in. I only know a few rednecks or car nerds that actually do this. The other 99% of the population just pumps it and drives til it's gone. In that state, left to sit, gas would be pretty much unusable in a few months.

Good point, although in Carol's case the car was the one the other refugees were using very recently, so it can be assumed that they had supplied it previously with whatever it needed to run.

I really liked this week's episode, particularly the ending! I kept shouting at the screen the whole time. Why did they let all the walkers attack that part of the fence anyway, they should have attacked them from behind IMO.

It was nice to see Maggie had the time to get a new hairstyle.:p

I thought this weeks episode was awesome! Hershel is the MAN!! :D And that teaser ending had me yelling YES!!
And it is somewhat annoying about the hair; wouldn't one's hair just get wildly out of control in the zombie apocalypse? :D

I can't wait to see it so feel free to post all about it so I'll know what's coming. I love seeing spoilers, lol. I actually prefer it.

^ I think the same!

I really loved the past two episodes, it was interesting to see the show focus on such a deeply flawed character and see things from his pov.

I like the background stories which reveal a lot about the characters. I think next weeks's mid-season finale will be a huge cliff-hangar. I am looking forward to seeing how closely the writers will follow the graphic novel. There have been some interesting changes.....

I missed the last episode, but I agree! I am liking the fact that we are getting to know more about the characters and how and why the do the things they do.
