TV & Film The Walking Dead

We are watching the season 6 marathon.
I'm watching, too...You know what I would hate most about being in a zombie apocalypse? Being dirty and sweaty all the time, lol. For some reason, seeing Daryl escape from Dwight and the women just made me think of that.

I have a prediction of a different sort. I predict when the time comes for the season finale to start @KLS52 will be glued to the tube despite saying she wouldn't be. :D

That's just because you saw my post about going out for beer, wine and snacks, hahahahaha.

I am starting to cave...

If I take a nap, that will be the clincher. [emoji12]

So that was a thing.

Such an intense scene, such a horrifying cliffhanger. October can't come soon enough, good lord.

Comic issue #100 brought to life... JDM's lines were nearly word for word... I don't care that there was a cliffhanger that was AWESOME!

Also.... Morgan and Carol are DEFINITELY going to the Kingdom.... Stay tuned for Ezekiel casting news, yes?

Yup! I love it! I knew there was going to be some type of Kingdom foreshadowing but that was pretty outright!

And yup, I loved how close the lines were to the comic. I had no doubts they could do Negan right to begin with but damn, did they do Negan right.

So, who are we thinking was on the business end of Lucille? Apparently (Talking Dead) there are clues as to who it was if you watch the sequence closely.

From a writing standpoint I'm willing to bet they stuck with Glenn. Very few other people in the group would have the same impact as Glenn's death. They can't kill Maggie because she needs to lead the Hilltop, and I sincerely doubt they'd kill Michonne... Abraham would be too underwhelming, and apparently we need him for Kirkman's reimagined All Out War arc... Sasha would also probably be kind of underwhelming, her death would be horrible and senseless but she hasn't been with us for a really long time... Eugene could bite it because he just handed his bullet recipe off to the group, it would survive his death and his function would be fulfilled in his absence. I'm really thinking Glenn but the writers like to f*ck with us so it could be any of them, except for Rick, who they would never consider killing off.

Or it could be Daryl. They could very much kill Daryl right here. He'd have the same impact as Glenn pretty much, he's been there since the beginning and is a MASSIVE fan favorite. Also they had him on the Talking Dead with JDM which is interesting, though Hardwick insists guest choice doesn't necessarily mean anything. But if they kill Daryl they lose like a solid third of their fan base, and I don't know if they'd risk that.

Ok, let's be real. That's not all.

I'll be back when I get out the keyboard, hahahahaha.

Facebook is blowing up with comments about how horrible the finale was, worst season finale ever, they RUINED it, etc.
Opinions are like assholes I guess :D

I hope they do stick with it being Glenn. I can imagine seeing the scene all over again for the season seven premiere, but this time we get it in the third person maybe from a couple different angles. But yeah, they kind of set it up in the episode for it to be Eugene but I sincerely hope they don't go that route. Eugene's importance spans far beyond making ammunition as we well know. Not to mention the emotional impact would be pretty minimum with Eugene.

I don't think it will be Abraham, if it were that would be pretty cheap to kill him so soon after Denise taking the arrow. It would be the dumbest **** ever actually, it would be such a cop out. As for Rosetta, Aaron, etc. not enough character building for them for sure to go. Not to mention lack of emotional impart the scene was meant to deliver.

I believe Rick, Carl, Michonne, and Maggie are going to be safe pretty much no matter what. My prediction is Glenn or Daryl... People need to be DEVASTATED when they find out who it was. Truly the only way they're going to get the desired emotional effect I think.

You watched it?

:pout:I don't know why they had to end it in such a stupid way!:sf: I'm going to have to try and avoid finding out who Negan hit/killed for months now, if he killed someone? So it can't be Carl or Rick obviously. Why did they come up with such a stupid plan to drag Maggie all over the place? Why is Carol being so weird all of a sudden? and... actually I've forgotten my other point. I'm sure I had one more.:D

1) A major character is absolutely dead. Don't worry about being spoiled, no one knows.
2) The only doctor is at the Hilltop.
3) Carol has a conscious after all, and guilt has finally caught up with her I guess? :D
