Whatcha Eatin?

Oatmeal. Surprise, surprise, lol.

So a neighbor gave me a giant bag of old fashioned oats. I usually get the quick oats. I compared the nutritional value of both and they are identical. I thought the five minute oats would be better than the quick/one minute oats. Maybe I should compare to steel cut but I don't see me switching to that on a regular basis. I am curious though.

The watermelon I had yesterday was delicious.

I'm having lemon water, but I am going to make a smoothie after my bath. Banana, raspberries, blackberries and spinach.

Yeah...I just need to get motivated. I've been eating the same thing for awhile so I'm looking for something different. I might do a vegetable curry.
I've been in those food ruts, too, mostly when I don't seem to have enough time to do what I want to do. I'll just grab something quick and convenient, and that isn't always my best option. I got out of the last one by finding a new YouTuber or two to follow, so that pushed me to try some new ideas/recipes.

An energy ball made of oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate chips and ground flaxseed. I'm hooked on these things. I could eat five at once, but I'm keeping it to one or two a day. :D
