Whatcha Eatin?

Reese's plant based peanut butter cup. It's just ok. Not worth the calories in my opinion. The chocolate is waxy, not smooth/creamy. I would not buy again.

I had an uncharacteristically small breakfast: two ciabatta rolls, with water to drink. I made up for it at lunch: brown rice cooked in my slow-cooker, with frozen (thawed) chopped spinach added at the end (so it wouldn't overcook). I had almost half of it for lunch, with canned kidney beans and a drizzle of vegetable oil added. I'll probably have more for dinner. I can still sort of taste the garlic (TMI, maybe).

I tried that a while back, and I thought it was too sweet. I had high hopes for it. :(
You know I like sweet but yes...no real flavor, just sugar tasting. Even the pb didn't taste very peanut buttery.

I think the reason I like truffles so much is because I like soft creamy chocolate. I know some people like their chocolate cold, even frozen. But not me. I'd prefer it melted lol.

Seems like I have a lot of issues with texture that have become more and more apparent the older I get. I can see it with all types of foods. 🤔

they are suprisingly easy to make for yourself - I have only done it once because they are unsurprisingly easy to eat too many...

today I am having my leftover steel cuts oats that I forgot to eat on Tuesday - I will add berries, banana, peanut butter and a bit of maple syrup

Yes, I have done it a few times. My new go to sweet snack now, is to stuff dates with peanut butter then dip in chocolate. I have some in my freezer now. :lick:

I was going to buy dates the other day, but they remind me of insects! I know they are good for you.

I had an 🥑 tomato and cucumber salad with vegan mayo and Maldon sea salt. Then some white choc buttons.

haha I know what you mean which is maybe why I only buy the larger medjool dates - they look less like insects

I am about to have my final noodley soup of the week which has some kidney beans in it today...

I'm about to try vegan black pudding for the first time for breakfast. I'm having it with air fried tofu, grilled tomato and buttered toast.

I've never tasted it as the original recipe never appealed to me.

I had a one pot (IP) ww organic tagliatelle bol. with a huge sprinkle of Italian style grated cheeze (Vermondo) and a drizzle ef evo.
