I was going to buy dates the other day, but they remind me of insects! I know they are good for you.

I've heard that before and just don't see it .
I love to soak dates, drain, and blend with nuts and oats (and other seeds, cocoa, or matcha...)and make snack balls. Filling and sweet and healthy too!

Latest batch had matcha powder, oat bran, walnuts, some vanilla and ginger and rolled in coconut. I need to have green teas with food so this was perfect. I offered at work for reviews and surprised how many liked them!

Made a doner/gyro type seitan and made a wrap. Pickled some onions, mixed mayo and yogurt and a teeny bit of old mint jelly. Somehow it didn't seem like enough spices. I'm realizing now I spend a lot on spices!

I haven't tasted that one. I bought both the hazelnut nut one together with the roasted almond one. Nice but still doesn't compare to dairy milk chocolate.

I don't think I can really remember what it tasted like now. It is my vegan anniversary on Halloween, thinking about it. 18 years.

Mine is October 2005 but I can't remember the date. My vegetarian anniversary is 2004. Hard to believe 20 years meat free.

I think I joined VB in October 2005. So I've known some of you for 19 years!
