Whatcha Eatin?

I'm curious about the crust, as the one Daiya pizza I tried had an awful crust. It was so tough and chewy and had no flavor.
Yes...the crust was a little lacking. Initially I air fried it and the crust didn't cook well that way. Today I reheated it in a fry pan and it was better. But still not great.

I've never tried Daiya.

I tried their pizza a couple of years ago and didn't like it. If I rightly remember the crust was GF. I've never liked their cheeze. However, they have a brand new version that I've not tasted. I did like the New York cheezecake which was quite tasty.

I think I did try the cheezecake, that was ages ago. I can't remember where I found it.

I really can't remember.

I'm waiting for my Ocado order and then I'm going to make a big salad with vegan mayo.

I like Daiya cheese. The blocks are best imo. I do not see a difference in the "new and improved" version.

The cheesecake was just ok for me. When I'm craving cheesecake I prefer to take Tofutti cream cheese and add a bit of sour cream, coco whip and sweetener of choice for more of a mousse. And this time of year I might add some pumpkin with pie seasoning and crumbled up ginger snaps. 😋

today is oatmeal day however I think I am feeling more like having a pita / banana / peanut butter & jam - we are watching the election all day so maybe it is a snacky kind of day...

Toast and cereal was my breakfast. Dark chocolate for a snack. (Yes I need a snack after every meal including breakfast lol). Not sure what lunch will be. 🤔

My sister gave me 4 tomatoes - fresh from her garden.
I've done a good job of finishing them off.
Had sliced tomato and grilled cheese sandwiches, Avocado, Lettuce and tomato on toast, fake bacon, lettuce and tomato on toast. today I had a grilled foldable Just Egg with tomato and cheese with hash browns.
I've also had bagel sandwiches (bagel, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and cream cheese).
I'm concerned with the number of servings of grains I'm getting every day so I've compensated by splurging on Ezekiel's flourless bread. But my bagels are TJs which are nothing special (not even whole grain).
