TV & Film The TV Room

*cough* Can we get back to talking about television, please?

I’ve been watching Outlander. Anyone else? I haven’t read the books it’s based on; not sure I want to. The series is entertaining and (oh God) sexy enough. :p

ETA: The discussion on 80s home computers has been moved to its own thread. :) (Thank you, Indian Summer!)

We're 3 episodes in & bloody loving it!
I think we've watched 2 (or 3) episodes now, and it's still quite good, so I think we'll probably watch the whole season.

We're also watching Gotham. It's interesting that TV series based on super heroes are in vogue. Back in the day it wouldn't have been socially acceptable, I don't think.

It gets even better :) think we're on episode 9. I'll be sad when it finishes!

Finished Daredevil. Loved it! Although some of the last episodes seemed to have a bit too much 'filler' material in them. Nevertheless, amazing series & am now sad that we have to wait for the next season.

We're considering trying out izombie next (I think that's what it's called.)

The one show that has me biting my nails waiting to see if it's renewed or not is Forever. I really like that one, but everyone seems to think it's doomed to be cancelled. :(

Netflix has a great new series Grace and Frankie. It stars four top actors/actresses; Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, and Sam Waterston.

Forever was cancelled. All the other shows I wanted to come back have been renewed, so I'm happy about that, but I'd be a really happy camper if Forever had been renewed also. It's the one thing darkening my day.

We watched another episode (5?) of Daredevil last night. It's interesting to see how the relationship between Fisk and his girlfriend is developing. Also, the Fisk character (a.k.a. Kingpin in the comic) is interesting in general.

Revenge is over, they had the series finale Sunday. :( That was one of the few shows I liked.

Mad Men is have their series finale this coming Sunday, another one I liked. :(

At least Big Bang Theory and Castle are still around.

I just watched the first of a three part series called Alaska: Earth's Frozen Kingdom.

The black bear cubs are so cute and so was the sea otter pup.:smitten:

I cried at the final episode.:( I had hoped it would carry on.

Just watched the next to last episode of Gotham. There have been some silly characters and side stories, but all in all it's keeping us entertained.

Does anybody here watch Game of Thrones? It's the only show I watch these days. I'm still really angry about Sunday's episode.

I don't but my daughter does...she told me what happened. :(
