TV & Film The TV Room

I've started watching The Last Man on Earth (Sundays on Fox) and I really like it. I was a bit lukewarm about it after watching the first two episodes, which aired two Sundays ago back to back, but now, having watched episode #3, I'm warming up to it. It's weird, and it's twisted, and it's funny and clever. I don't know how long they'll be able to keep this show going with basically a one-joke premise, but I think I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Half way through season 4 of the walking dead. BEST SHOW EVER! Will be happy to catch up as I'm sick of people posting spoilers all over the internet!

Watched the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I loved it, very funny and smart show. I can't wait for season two which doesn't start until 2016.

Nick and Juliette on Grimm most have a some special card for home goods or Ikea or something. They get their furniture ruined a lot.

I can't wait to back read the walking dead thread when we're all caught up. It's killing me, haha. I want to talk about it!

I watched British TV last night, first I watched a Channel 4 documentary about race called Things We Won't Say About Race That Are True.

This is why there are things we don’t say about race (even when they are true) | Joseph Harker | Comment is free | The Guardian

We must listen to Trevor Phillips and his inconvenient truths about race - Telegraph

Then I watched Question Time, damn, the Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna is so good looking.

I find it adorable.

Nearly there! 3/4 of the way through season 5. Excited but at the same time don't want to finish it & have to wait for the new season.

Also, so upset by what happened before the mid season break.

We watched a documentary on Netflix about Atari Inc. and the search for the so- called "worst game of all time", i.e. Atari's version of E.T. which was supposedly so horrid they decided to bury the cartridges deep in a garbage dump in the desert. Quite entertaining. What I felt was definitely missing from the story was what happened to Atari after Atari Inc., namely the era of Atari Corp. which created an amazing home computer - the Atari ST, which was a force to be reckoned with in my teenage years. (I was more of a Commodore fan, though.)

We're looking forward to Daredevil which I believe starts soon. It's a Netflix original - looks rather good. :D

Yes, I've read a very positive review of it. Should be interesting. I'm one of those weirdos who thought the Daredevil movie was pretty good ...
