TV & Film The TV Room

Hallmark started their all Christmas programming already, no more Golden Girls until January. :( They could have at least waited until after Thanksgiving, they're as bad as the retail stores.

I watched a few Christmas movies. [emoji12] I do miss golden girls, though. They could have kept them on and started the movies at noon. By the time the Christmas season legitimately kicks in I will be tired of watching the same movies over and over. There are a few that I really like and can watch again and again but I do not like some of the newer ones.

CBS just reaired the pilot episode of Supergirl, which I missed on Monday, so I watched it tonight. I liked it. It reminds me a bit of The Bionic Woman, which I watched when I was a teenager.

We've recently been watching the BBC One sitcom The Kennedys about comedienne Emma Kennedy's "eccentric childhood" in the 70s. It's just six episodes, and we've already watched 5 of them. It's been entertaining, not bad at all.

The role as the mother is played by Katherine Parkinson of The IT Crowd and Humans fame.

I am watching Manchester United/PSV (I had to look up this team, lol) on ESPN Deportes on the Roku. I am picking up some of the Spanish, though I'm not sure about all the football lingo. The crowds are always singing or chanting during matches. I love the enthusiasm. And there are no commercials.

Hand Of God was a very good series. Highly recommend!

Other than that, we're keeping up with The Walking Dead & have just started Jessica Jones which were hoping will be as enjoyable as Daredevil.

It was only on this past weekend here. It was quite funny.:D It's weird as I think that William Baldwin used to look different to his other brothers but now he is older they all look really alike.

Just a soupçon of a sneak peek, but still...

Teaser Video Kicks Off The 25 Days of Giving

Today, STARZ released the first-look teaser for Season Two of "Outlander." The critically-acclaimed series adapted from Diana Gabaldon's international best-selling books is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore ("Battlestar Galactica," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: The Next Generation") and will return in Spring 2016.

The Season Two teaser is the first release for Starz' 25 Days of #OutlanderOfferings. Starting December 1, Starz will release exclusive content across Twitter and Facebook, including never-before-seen season 2 photos, cast interviews, holiday recipes, and the chance to win special Outlander store items.

Season Two of Outlander begins as Claire and Jamie arrive in France, hell-bent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and stopping the battle of Culloden. With the help of his cousin Jared, a local wine merchant, Jamie and Claire are thrown into the lavish world of French society, where intrigue and parties are abundant, but political gain proves far less fruitful. Altering the course of history presents challenges that begin to weigh on the very fabric of their relationship. However, armed with the knowledge of what lies ahead, Claire and Jamie must race to prevent a doomed Highland uprising, and the extinction of Scottish life as they know it.
