It's a PERFECT early-autumn day- sunny and warm, with the trees starting their annual riot of color. On my way to the gym, I passed under a maple full of orangish-yellowish-reddish leaves.

October has just been gorgeous this year. It's been bright and sunny for days. This has been a nice treat.

Weather here has been wonderful too! It has been dry since the hurricane and now we actually need some rain.

We need rain too...I keep getting fire hazard alerts on my phone every day. Someone was shooting off fireworks last night for Halloween and the cops came and confiscated them. Normally they don't bother anyone when they shoot them off.

We also had some power lines that fell and ignited a brush fire but luckily the fire department got it under control quickly. This was down the street from me, not near my house.

In the 80's here. It was cloudy and looked like it might rain on my way home from work just an hour ago. Didn't rain and now is sunny!

I had to put the air conditioning on in my car today. The temperature read 83 degrees. Insane weather for November.

We've had a few crisp days. It was so nice. But this 70+ degree nonsense is dragging on way too long.

It's not like I'm asking for frigid temperatures. I'd just like it maybe ten degrees lower.
