TV & Film The TV Room

I watched the 2 hour pilot for The Librarians on TNT last night. It's a spinoff of The Librarian movie trilogy with Noah Wyle, who apparently will be in only a few of the series episodes. I liked the movies. The new series is just okay, but I may keep watching. Apparently it's a bit like "Scorpion" only with magic. I do like "Scorpion".

We've started on the second season of a New Zealand show called The Almighty Johnsons on Netflix. It's pretty entertaining. The old gods & goddesses (i.e. the ones featured in Norse mythology) have been reincarnated in the bodies of modern-day New Zealanders, albeit with reduced powers. According to a prophecy, to get their full powers back Odin must be united with Frigg. So Odin and his brothers set out on a quest to find her.

Watching past seasons of Project Runway. Even though Heidi Klum uses cow leather, I was happy to see her against using fur and snake skin. When someone wanted to make her an outfit with those things she was disgusted. Something is better than nothing at all.

Was just watching two old episodes of The IT Crowd. There was a part where Moss was a witness in court where I laughed so hard I literally cried, which is not an everyday sort of occurrence.
